How can a priest family be it Kashyap or Vashisht or any other person or group have control over temple wealth? As far as I know temple wealth belongs to the main deity residing in it. It cannot be used for personal purposes & no one can possess or take control over it. Usually the government regulates such wealth in the form of donations, gold, money, lands etc. by forming an official trust. This is the case with many famous ancient temples. For others also there is a governing body with members from different sections as trustees. Usually priests are appointed on the basis of succession else they do it generally.

The temple in this serial seems to be an ancient one but there is no government formed temple trust looking after it!? 😕 Only the main priest family has control over everything & that's how Indrani Narayan Vashisht is able to do all these manipulations. She & her sisters are all set to steal temple wealth & hopefully Advay wont let this happen. I wish to see him handover the entire treasure to government & get these punished for all that they have done. 😊

And if your point is taken in account, the scenario may be like this...its only the Mahant family who remains in charge of the temple and its wealth, and Govt have still not undertaken it...or may be Indrani and her sisters are planning to use the wealth for their own benefits...
We need to let the story unfold at first..

Hahaha ok then. That's what I typed in the end. This lady just wont let it happen as long as she's alive. 😆 Waiting for Advay to give her a strong jhatka. 😉

If the Mahant's family had whole control, the mob wouldn't have framed him as fraud and killed the entire family. And now in the present, the entire maha aarti and the pooja procedure for opening the door won't be happening, if the treasure is going to be the personal wealth of Indrani or Mahant family. Also it was shown that Yash Narayan was the succesor of Kashyap Senior and that's why it is handed over to him and only he knows the mantra. They seem to be the head priests of temple not owners.

Creative liberty ... I guess that's still ok. There are a lot of religious issues where govt doesnt have absolute power. Yes, Archaeologic dept get a say in antique stuffs...

Even in Trivandrum, it was only 3-4 years back these came under govt/ court sight...before that Royal family and temple trust (including priest) had been all in all... infact a lot of gold went missing and one person filed court case when all these revelation came out...

I am cool with the way the treasure story is shown ... :P makes a lot more sense than could seeding done by one person secretly

This is what I wanted to say...it seems like there is committee with vashisht as head...
But indrani is planning to steal the wealth and make it personal

And also how come Chandni allows this to happen because she also thinks opening the doors of the temple will lead to her family come out of the financial difficulties. So she thinks it's fine for their family to get the treasure, which is actually a property of the temple.

Maybe they are really due to get some amount legally...

Sorry guys, I just don't get the show's plot. Seems very historical and set in the earlier period.

Anyhow, despite this, I like many fans decided to give this show a chance and kept telling myself things will improve, but somehow I just don't feel up to watching it anymore. Too many OTT scenes, weak plots, forced chemistry between the leading pairs, random rabba ves, the list is endless.

Die hard fans like us cannot connect with the characters in this show and I just feel the writer of this show should be firstly fired! But I think if this continues, they'll lose their prime time slot, then be given a warning and finally pulled off air. Its very sad! as everyone had high expectations.

So I hope this Gul Khan will be satisfied knowing that when you concentrate too much on other established shows like 'Ishqbaaz' and don't put your heart and soul into it, then this doesn't work. You can put the world's most brilliant actors together but without a good story plot and execution it then becomes boring and not believable.

Apologies if I've offended anyone here, just telling you how it is that's all.
