My God, this was a class episode! All isn't lost. The shreds of glory remain but the difference is, the lesser of Bajirao, the merrier we are. :(
Anyways, another bang on scene of Radhabai-Kashi.

The two daughter in laws are trembling and are sceptical about Peshwa Saheb but our Peshwinbai remains unaffected. Alas, that stone hearted ness I cannot bear with!
She's still struggling for her family to have a high place in the minds of nobles. Our simple Radhabai is now burdened with the responsibilities of Peshwinbai and hence we don't see that bright glimpse of her, where she's only Radha, a small lady of a village. That innocence, merriment, simplicity is GONE.

And hence, she explains :
"Bhediye hamesha Sher ko neecha dikhaane ki taak mein hote hain aur unhe batana padta hain ki... Sher kabhi kamzor nahi hota. Peshwa saheb sher hain, vijayta hain"

And then, this happens. Kashibai is marvelled at her thought process - so firm and gripping. She says - "Hum aapke sthaan par hote..."
But she cuts her and says : "Hum kabhi nahi chahenge ki koi naari, Jo apne pati se itna prem kare, humaari sthiti mein ho. Aur Kashibai, aap toh bilkul bhi nahi."

DRAT. God alone knows that The forbidden things will take place & history will undoubtedly repeat itself. No wonders these ladies will be inseparable hence.

The jewellery scene was important & symbolic.
Radhabai says - "Humein Bundelkhand ka heera pasand nahi."
Of course, she hates Mastani. Note here, she won't hate her in person. She will just hate her position in Rao's life. And also a personal grudge cause she knows people like her are the prime reason of disappointment for wives. :'(

But the jeweler said - "Yeh heera aapke naseeb mein hain"

But but, I've a different take here.
The way Kashi portrayed Shringaar as unimportant and worthless, its this same Shringaar (external beauty) that'll take away her Rao from her. Almost like those motis are here to take revenge for their insult.
And its true in real life too. External makeups/jewellery certainly beautify us but are a false facade and nothing but a misguidance. Its the inner beauty and strength that gives depth to character and soul. Alas, the facade wins here as outer glamour wins over inner gorgeousness. Kashibai couldn't have thought in her wildest of dreams that this very jewellery, which she thought to be of no value, will be the cause of her misery.

Shakespeare once quoted that women who use makeup are very shallow. A beauty borrowed from someone is a bad omen and results in death and misfortune, as its prevalent here.

***

The darbar scene needs a special applause as Chimaji shines brightly and in all glory!
A man so cunning, a man yet so honourable! Chimaji has it in him to give it back in style!

"Aap jaise subh chintak hi Peshwa Saheb ke aage badhne ki urjaa hain"
How sass is that!? Hats off *swag unlimited*

Darn, his one smile sets me drooling. Who said only Baji is hatthi? He's equally ziddi to get his share, albeit with Grace.

"Sada vijayi bhavah" - he wanted it and got it and how?😆
The king of Shastras and the master of Raajneeti! No one defeats him in the battleground or courtroom. Great to go!

Hail to Shrimaan Saheb. I wonder how he got hitched to Rakhma - so playful and childish. Bhagwaan ki leela aprampaar!

...

Signing off,
Mahi.

I can't tell you how elated yesterday's episode has me! It is like the old days are back! PB inadvertently reminds me of Maharana pratap.
Look at Chimaji! Isn't he just our very own shakti singh with a shade or two of chakrapani? His ready wit, his rebellious ways, his political excellence and the will to give it back to every upstart who dares to challenge his brother and father. I love the way he silenced panditji, hilariously impressive!
Now i look at ghotiya, Baji's best friend and his memories of Namrata, his love. His interrogation of baji's love life, trying to play cupid, Chakrapani-Saubhagyawati feels? ❤️
Bajirao, a man for whom his country is everything, every single dialogue of his screams Maharana! His rendition of Shivaji maharaj's dream and i am reminded of how our Kunwarsa idealized Rana Sanga.
Kashibai is in every way Ajabde! Her innocence, sacrifice, her wait, looking for her happiness in her husband's! Oh my Pratap-Ajabde! If only her Rao pays attention to her and loves her as Ghotiya wants! 😔 Rakhma is another chirpy, adorable thing, makes me wonder if Shakti had a wife, how would she have been?
Radhabai is a bit different but in a lot of ways she reflects maharani Jaiwanta.
Oh Mahi, the feels! All i want now is to set eyes upon a happy RaoShi.

OH MY GAAWWDDD. YESSS!

How foolish I am, this never hit me! Shit!😆
Actually we're so preoccupied with Mastani, the parallels didn't strike me at all. But I can trust my Di to shake me up and make me realise it!🤗

*Resss for this*
We'll have the longest of discussions now 😳

A million times yes to all those comparisons!
Chimaji - our very own Shakti Singh, who isn't afraid to stand against his brother if needed and once he's with him, none has the power to defeat them. <3
He doesn't show it but he LOVES his brother a lot. Haaye
And yes Rakhma is every bit of his wife, chirpy and a bit innocent for the tough man.

Gotya can be every bit of Chakku, talkative, annoying at times but highly adorable! And yeah Namrata is our bhago, always guiding her husband what to say and what not to do 😆
Save that here our Chakku is inflicted with Jalebi desires 😛

No parallels for our Paan boy?🤣🤣

But notably, even balaji was shown consuming paan with his Sarkar in earlier days. 😆

Radhabai yes, a reflection of JB. Strong, determined, can go to any lengths to uphold truth and virtue. And gets Baji like no other. :P

Now, finally, to PrAja.
Honestly speaking, my mind doesn't allow me to hold Baji in Kunwarsa's place. Pratap was a class Yaar, the highest pillar of justice and truth, the biggest devotee of his motherland and the one who kept his wife right beside him and treated her so greatly. Baji may be dedicated to Matrabhoomi but his regard for Kashi breaks my heart and I cannot dare to say he's my Maharana. :(

Can we have Mastani as phool? Unwanted, intruding and baseless?🤣
Pratap showed her the right place (episode 411 *sighhh*) 🤣 but Bajirao will go on to have her above Kashi.

You know, before the leap Kashi had literally thrown out the two ladies resembling DB & UmaDevi *ROFL*
Reminds me of how Ajabde exposed them 😉

But PrAja will be PrAja and none like them. My PrAja ❤️

Pratap-Shakti were sibling goals! They are rivals yet so much of love! <3

Gotya does remind me a little of Som too with that height and weight if you know what I mean.😳But every bit of Chakku, no doubt! I can totally imagine him saying that 'chidiya and pahad' wala dialogue! 🤣 I can't wait to see Namrata and their banters.

Oh, that's interesting. So we do have a paan boy here!😆 Thank god no bhootni and no jagmalini, ek mastani hi kafi hai.😛😛

I know, I know you are right. PrAja are PrAja! But that Rana Sangha and Shivaji parallel had me thinking, that's all.😆 God, I so badly want Baji at least respecting Kashi the way they had it in the film. Certainly not the way our Ranaji respects his Maharani though.😉

Can we have Mastani as phool? Unwanted, intruding and baseless?🤣

That would be good. Flower pot=Mastani! I guess nobody likes Mastani here, everyone is rooting for Baji-Kashi.

Really? Tell me episode no, I have to watch this! 🤣

But PrAja will be PrAja and none like them. My PrAja ❤️
Our PrAja! PrAja forever! We can ship all the couples we want but PrAja are our first love, aren't they?😳

About rivalry, I can clearly see Chimaji take his vahini's side and Rao going after Mastani. So clashes are bound to happen. 😆
Much like Prakti 😳

OMG yeh! I wanna see his reaction if Gotya did something like chidiya pahad 🤣

Jagmalini 🤣🤣

If Baji respects Kashi a tiny fraction of what Maharana did to his Maharani, I'll be over the moon 😆
That'll be enough for us 😳

Certainly, couples come and go and we may ship a thousand pairs but none takes the place of PrAja. Infact even the place of that epic serial that's into our system 😛

PrAja is my first and probably the last love cause true love happens only once in a lifetime <33

Good post Mahi 👏 I really cannot relate to the Radhabai we see now coz we had seen a different persona to her all this while. One that of a loving wife n mother. She seems to lack apathy and that was evident when instead of comforting Kashi she was stern at the sight of her tears. I loved Radhabai scenes today and what a powerful play of words 👏 Her rejecting the jewelry was a direct hint that in future she will not accept anything from Bundelkhand be it their riches or their daughter. And when she tells Kashi she doesn't want any of her daughters to face what she has faced, it was so hard hitting I love Chimaji already 😆 he is so smart and really envy Rakma for getting him as a husband. I am really liking Rakma. She is so adorable. I guess I will skip most part of today's epi 😆 courtesy Mastani.
