we specialize in melodrama🤪 jenny ,harr cheez mein extra masala daal doh...get these actors or cricketers in any of these shows whether they know nothing about music,people watch ...

This is the main reason why I avoid watching reality shows. Nowadays drama part has increased so much. There is no reality left in reality shows.

Even other countries ones are fixed and too much drama sometimes (not as bad as indian ones tho 🤢 )

Another problem is that hindi singers are mainly bollywood playback singers (its sad to see how little recognition the real singers get) and audience dont recognise them so they dont bring in viewers as much as an actor would (im sure more people know who Akshaye/Tiger are than Hamsika Iyer is -popular singers like Sunidhi/Sonu/Alka have bigger following tho and are more recognisable).

Whereas in the UK/America/North Korea...the singers are the main attraction (the showstoppers) whether its Beyonce/1D/BTS (korean band) and have huge fanbases and even smaller bands are recognised as themselves and have a dedicated smaller fanbase because there's rarely the playback issue.

This is what Himesh had mentioned once long back.. That Indian audience should support singles and albums too so that these singers are recognized.. If you see the jury members are more talented than the judges themselves esp Neha 🤢.. But sadly Neha is more popular than them.. And the jury members not being recognized unfortunately have to take part in such shows where they can sit and give scores and maybe once get a chance to sing and make their voice heard.. It is also annoying whenever Neha argues with the jury for giving low scores.. I am like who is more talented and experienced here Neha? 😵 .. So sadly they have more power than the jury because they are more popular !! Example, this so called badge thing, so that they can show that they are above the jury now 🤢

I was shocked to see Neha as a judge tbh, she's so new and only recently gained some popularity ...atleast HR is a seasoned judge and Javed has more experience and versatility (also far less Autotune help)

The only thing going for Neha is she has a good voice (too loud for soft and melodic numbers)...it only really works with Kar Gayi Chull and Sunny Sunny (Yariyaan) type songs...its sad to see such a voice not being utilised to the best, she could do so much more if she could control it.

I feel like indian audience are becoming more accepting of singers nowadays...its slow but its changed from Alka-Udit-Kumar time ...more genres and more recognition but theres far more singers too now. Attitude is changing slowly.

I'm happy the jury is there too, atleast they judge mostly without partialty...honestly it feels like the badge was introduced to buff up SMP ...the only one to win badge week after week despite not getting 100% 😡 (no other kid seems to benefit from this partiality as far as I can remember) I really feel for the other deserving kids... even Neha herself today was like the old SMP is back blah blah (not that I enjoyed SMP, better than past few performances but very average compared to nearly every other kid even Dhroon)

And I was like then why did she like get 4/5 badges if you guys thought she was lacking before today (i hope people see through that comment today and realise the badges are value-less when it comes to SMP)
