nice article...and yeah if the CVs start taking input from fans then the story line will not be a total mess like TPK. With time these CVs not only deviate from the original concept but they also forget some really important details and character traits...but the loyal fans never forget such important things, so we can stop them from making such mistakes.
And there are some producers and writers who do pay heed to the input from fans...in recent times i have seen the writers of Swaragini, JNDSD and YRKKH regularly interacting with fans on social media...taking their suggestions, fulfilling their specific requests and answering their queries.
But yes making loyal fan(s) a part of the creative team will certainly make the show a lot more logical and interesting. But before taking any such step...first of all they need to make the rating system more accurate. I have heard that BARC has partnered with Nielson for digital measurement...so when they will also add up the data collected from people meters and the data collected from digital mediums...hopefully then the TRP will become more accurate.
