I think jai ho and Tubelight have similar earnings..

1. Ticket rates are high for Bhai movies

2. Numbers are inflated

3. Both crap movies crossed 100 crores

Jai Ho was semi-hit.
Tubelight verdict is yet to be out.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a movie with social message.

Jai Ho was a terrible movie and Tubelight was something which will not work in big screen. It is more of something is better off in books and television.
But the fact both movies made over 100 crores, shows how much goodwill Sallu has nowadays with cinema going audience.

Bad acting by salman, trying to promote his useless brother, trying to fool audience with copied stories and scenes from several south and english movies, over confidence in his own stardom, being repetitive and boring with the same kind of hype and same kind of look and same release timings, nothing inspiring in those messages

The big Hollywood release Transformers - The Last Knight has fared badly with around 3.50 crore nett coming on day one and it had collected 1.75 crore nett apprx on previews which gives it a total of 5.25 crore nett. Tubelight has flopped and GST starting today also looks another big blow to the Hindi film industry but the censor board is definitely giving a huge helping hand by giving very big Hollywood films and A certification. First it was The Mummy and now Transformers - The Last Knight and these A certifications are hitting collections of the films very badly. The industry may be up in arms against the censor board which is partly wrong and partly right. Its right as there should be freedom to make films and let the audience decide but then on the other hand there are so many irresponsible film makers and many who have a name in the media are of this ilk so anything can be made in the name of cinema.
