Neela came to know about Ayesha & Avni before her wedding to Ashish, I don't know how I wasn't regular follower of the show. But yes, she comes to know about them & wants to help them, so she financed Avni's film indirectly with the help of Aladdin. Meanwhile she starts to give Daya hard time with her conditions to bring her Muslim driver with her to the house & others. She gives Ashish many chances to confess about Ayesha & Avni, but he didn't. She gets drunk one day before marriage, Aladdin brings her to Ayesha's house from the bar in drunk condition & next day she decides to cancel the wedding in front of whole media & expose DM. But DM predicts what Neela is going to do & before she can do anything, she blackmails Neela to marry Ashish. Actually Neela's father was ill & they do something bcz of which his condition worsens on the day of wedding. If she didn't marry Ashish, they wouldn't give Hemantbhai medicines on the time to save his life. So basically Neela had 2 options at that time, her own happiness & life or her father's life. She chose the latter.
About why Diksha killed Neela's father, Avni & Neela both came to know that Dayawanti killed Ayesha, but the case was already closed. & to reopen the case they took a different route & tried to find out the owner of the car with which Ayesha had an accident. The police officer was working for DM, so I don't know if he told the truth or not but he says that the car was Neela's. So Neela decides to help Avni reopen the case & goes to jail. Now Hemantbhai, Neela's father knows her daughter can't do murder & decides to find out the whole truth. He starts to take actions & if he continued to do so, it was just a matter of time before the whole truth comes out & DM gets arrested for murder & Diksha & Ketan for hiding & manipulating the evidences. So Diksha kills him to save themselves.
