Hey guys I want to share my feelings about something that I always feels while watching Ishqbaaz.
Some Important Points I am mentioning before put down my feelings :- 1. It's not my anger and I am not feminist,it's just a feeling or my thought.
2. I am not talking about SHIVIKA
If I am right pls support my opinion by tweeting harneet or Gul or If I am wrong you can suggest your opinions.

I was thinking that What Annika got in her life means she don't get respect from her in laws except OmRu, Dadi, Bhavya, Shivaay,Jhanvi,Gauri,Priyanka,Shakti. She don't call her in laws as Mom,Dad,Badi Maa,Bade Papa bcz she don't get that right in OM and even nobody cares about that and she did so many things for every family member but in return what she got disrespect, separation from Shivaay and she showed herself selfish, bad in front of every family member.

What CV's doing with Annika's character nor they are showing her independent nor they giving her respect. Actually I was recollecting the memories of IPK1 and Geet where no female character got that much disrespect. It's just my feeling.
I never complained about any track of Ishqbaaz and I watched every single episode of this show but after 1 year I was analyzing the Annika's character that what she get.
Even today also I knew it's a result of CV's writing only they are showing how Annika is responsible for Shivaay's condition and what about her, her condition after separating from Shivaay. I think for CV's only Shivaay's character matters not Annika.
They (CV's) showed her like a stone wall that not cares about society, NKK,she is like wall of great wall of SSO and it's a very good thing about her character but CV's didn't realize while writing about her character that she is also a person for her family matters, each and every relation matters and why they are continuously targeting her.

I want CV's to work more upon Annika's character.

I don't know how to react to your post but one thing is clear that if we are talking about character progression after completing 1 year only in one character I can see the progression that is Shivaay Singh oberoi. We saw so many transition in his character like from Shivaay Singh Oberoi to Stone Singh Oberoi to Sanki Singh oberoi to Shivaay to Billu to Sweet Singh Oberoi to Romantic Singh Oberoi to Sad Singh Oberoi and now lost Singh Oberoi. But In case Of Annika I saw not that much of character progression like that her character that already written in the previous year has been showing in the show.

Not only Annika's character but also Omkara's character but my opinion is that omkara's character not shown progression, his character lost charm.

Thank God our Rudra saved and Bhavya is perfectly matching him. And they slowly and gradually creating their charm.

But here the concern of our forum's friend is serious. According to me Annika's character should get respect and concern like that of SSO.

I don't know I am right or wrong but Annika faced more pain than Shivaay bur writers never shows her pain, this time both are suffering but they are only showing only Shivaay's pain more. Writes has shown Annika like that she can face any problem and will get never hurt. And they are saying Shivaay the great wall of shivaay. For me Annika is rightly said as Wall of Great SSO.

Honestly speaking from what I understand, Annika's character growth was never a priority for the writer. Annika's character has been used to show the journey of Shivaay Singh Oberoi becoming an Ishqbaaz. You need to be made of steel to survive like Annika did before and more importantly after marriage. Often I have wondered whether it was humanly possible to be like that.

People will argue that she had Shivaay's love. No matter how illogical the separation was, one thing came out of it that love alone is not often enough to sustain a relationship. There are other issues that need addressing which I don't think CVs will do.

I think we fans tend to be more biased towards Shivaay's pain and hurt. Annika is stronger mentally and physically... she obviously has lived a difficult life, faced the world, fallen and gotten up on her own with no one to call family other than Sahil. Although I did not like or approved of how easily she gave into Pinky's demands, everything she said to get Shivaay to throw her out was all bitter truth. She did try to make OM her home, her family... unfortunately those feelings were not reciprocated from a very important person in Shivaay's life, His own mother.
His family name, where he comes from...all that very much matter to Shivaay. It's part of him, he has even said it himself. Majority of the times an NKK issue has come up, Shivaay has chosen NKK over Annika, and then would apologize in private 😕
So for Annika to think that finding out the illegitimacy and his mother's truth was not wrong if you think from her point of view. Little that she knew that her leaving would break him to the core.
Annika has not only saved Shivaay but other members of Oberio family on numerous occasions. It was also made to clear to Shivaay on multiple occasions that Money and status does not matter to her. Yet even today when there is misunderstanding between them, Shivaay went back to "girls like Annika only care about money and bank balance."
I understand he is hurt right now and when we are angry we always let that anger/hate get the best of us.
Annika too was being a hypocrite when she told Shivaay to dig into her past when she herself was looking into his and Mahi's connection... DNA test and all.
I was all for separation of it was executed properly cuz it was to make their relationship stronger. Right now everything seems to be going in circles, so I'm not sure exactly where the story is headed...so I'm just gonna sit here patiently and let the story unfold.

Sorry for any typos, responding from my phone at work so on a time crunch right now.

this goes other way around...😆
she got respect from everyone besides pinky.. and that really happens in real life..
tej doesn't respect most of the women in house so it doesn't really matters

and in real life not every bahu calls her mother in law= Mommy and father in law=daddy..😆

I didn't know what will going to happen but if the track would not be justified by the writers I would definitely become mad bcz of these thoughts and I know you guys trying best to answer my question but one thing is very hurtful that they used Annika's character to show the journey of Shivaay Singh Oberoi or may I call Annika as Stepnie.
Guys pls someone tell Harneet don't do this with Annika's character. If she called this is Takkar then this is not justified. Even bcz of Shivaay's character OmRu character also suffers a lot.
