List some of the Technologies you noticed in Indian movies, before they arrived in the market

I remember in the Salman Khan/Rishi Kapoor starrer (Yeh hai Jalwa) I noticed they had a flat screen TV in Rishi Kapoor's office, now this movie was released in 2002, but it was shot mostly in the year 2000, I dont think flat screen tv's arrived in the market in 2000 (I could be wrong 😕?)

Also in the movie Karobaar, starring Rishi Kapoor/Juhi Chawla/Anil Kapoor, I notice they had a girl using a Laptop in Anil Kapoor's office, now this movie was released in 2000, however it was shot at least 4-5 years earlier, in 1995/1996, did they have laptops in India back then?

nice observation BTW. The other day, I was also watching a movie.. don't remember exactly which one but it was a movie from the late 90s, and saw a flat screen TV and wondered the same..
Laptops and flat screen TV were common in the developed world by the late 90s... and perhaps the rich peeps of our country imported such stuff.
