Laksh Lalwani and team of Porus head to Thailand for underwater sequences

After using the lunar landscape of Ladakh for Colors' Shani, producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary has now taken the team of Porus to Thailand for a long shoot. It seems actors Laksh Lalwani, Rati Pandey and Aditya Redij are already in the island nation to shoot for the mega budget period soap. The show talks about the life of King Porus who fought with the Greek Alexander The Great. It focuses on the Battle of Hydaspes that took place somewhere around Mong in Pakistan's Punjab province. Laksh will be paired with his Adhuri Kahani Hamari co-star Suhani Dhanki. Ira Dubey will play the role of Queen Olympias on the show.

A source from the channel told Bollywood Life, "The whole team is headed there. In fact, Laksh, Rati and Aditya have been there since a few days. The shooting will take place in Pattaya, Surat Thani and Koh Sak. The makers are sparing no efforts to give it a lavish feel. The entire underwater portions will be filmed in Thailand. There is a lot of action. Ira who plays Alexander's mom Olympias will join us later. After Suryaputra Karn, this is Siddharth's next for Sony TV. Actor Rohit Purohit will play the part of Alexander the Great.

Laksh was playing the part of Veer in Ekta Kapoor's Pardes Main Hai Mera Dil. Rumours suggested that he quit the show as he bagged the lead in Tewary's Porus. However, the actor denied it saying that he had made up his mind to quit PMHMD as he was not happy with the character. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more scoop and updates.

I had high hopes for Eisha to be a part of this show now that ETR2 has come to its finale. Laksh Lalwani is my number two pick for Eisha after Mishal. 😳 I think they'll make an incredible onscreen pair one day given that they're both beautiful and very talented. 😊 Eisha hasn't officially announced her next show, but I hope her new show is able to thoroughly showcase her talent with a co-actor that matches her precisely in chemistry. 😃 Laksh Lalwani is teaming up with Suhani Dhanki for the second time. The fans of Adhuri Kahani Humari are extremely lucky that they'll be able to watch their favourite onscreen couple romance once again. 👍🏼

It's obvious Mishal isn't interested in television, Zajie. I wish he'd stop stringing his fans along in the false hope that he'll be making his debut soon. I've noticed several times that he's mislead us into thinking that big news coming very very soon, but nothing of that sort came our way. 😳 Don't know what he's getting out of playing games with his own fans. 🤔 Anyhow, our Eishu isn't letting her fans down and is in talks for her third show. I admire her spirit! She hasn't taken a break since IKRS if I'm not mistaken. I hope she's paired with an experienced co-actor this time. 😃 Harshad Chopra, it's time for you to make your comeback and make our Pearly happy. 😉 Who better than with our own Eishu? ❤️

Yes, the guy looks good. Had to search for Suhani... Beautiful name...

So, there are few more young talents as well that I think will look good onscreen with Eisha. Zain Imam (Had to search his name). I have seen his clips for 2 shows (Namkaran and Tash-ne-Ishaq) and he seems to be good actor Then there is another one Vishal Vashishtha.. He is also a good one.

These young breed seems to have totally different outlook and are signing one shows after another within very short time frame...All are very focused of what they want in their career.

Laksh is very handsome and incredibly talented for his age, Ami! I loved him as the antagonist on Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. Sadly, his role didn't materialize the way it should've compelling him to opt out of the show. Zain Imam is a very popular actor, but he's significantly older than Eisha. 😊 Hadn't heard of Vishal Vashishta, but he's so handsome and young! 👍🏼 Oh he's the male lead in Jaat K Jugni! I recall seeing him in promos on Sony! I think he too would have great chemistry with Eisha. 😃 Laksh is the closest to Eisha in age at 20. 😳

He is way too young... But seems to be good actor and focused one otherwise would not have got the role in Porus...Will have to see his work..

Very young but driven, Ami! He's working hard for his role in Porus. I believe they're doing underwater stunts at the moment in Thailand, so this shows his level of professionalism at a very tender age. Heard the whole cast is doing their own stunts and have been suffering injuries regularly as they're filming. The cast of Porus is impressive and I believe it has a blockbuster budget. High hopes from this show! 😊 Ishita Ganguly had been finalized as the female lead of Porus, but I'm not sure what happened. She's now donning the character of Kashibai on Peshwa Bajirao.

Yes, it is Sony's most expensive show.

Doing stunts on his own is risky. But then young actors have lots of energy and fire in them to do something in life, achieve something in life.

Hope this show becomes blockbuster. It would be interesting to know about Porus, about the lifestyle, costume, etc

I am very much interested in direction, shots, photography and there is no doubt about acting, it will be fabulous. Seems to be very exciting show.

I think Eisha should do one historical show as well...
