Why is Ranveer still jobless even after BM?

Well other than SLB and Zoya Akhtar, no other filmmakers or big banner seems keen to work with him and even his mentor Aditya Chopra will now think twice before signing him after the Befikre debacle! so why is he still jobless?

What happened to the next big star?

He probably will end up like Vivek Oberoi

He was never a superstar material.

From the young lot only remote chance of anyone becoming a superstar is Ranbir. However I believe era of superstars are over. Its move to movie now days.

Problem with Ranveer is that he looks terrible..then he is clownish. There is no charisma of SRK in him and this was seen with Befikre. I am sorry to say but he just does not have in him.

At worst: Vivek Oberoi

At best: Govinda i.e. doing comic roles

P.S: He need to stop working with Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra. These two panautis will sink him faster than otherwise.

If Ranveer career is considered as swimming pool and ranveer does not know how to swim. Farhan/PC are heavy stones tied to his legs. The career is sure to drown. However if he get rids of these 2 panautis then someone like aditya chopra can throw a rubber boat to float him for sometime.

Because he ain't bankable and also he is pretty much a nonentity without SLB!

At the moment he is preparing for Padmavati and that has kept him busy, he is more like aamir khan in the sense he concentrates on one film at a time.

About him not getting films it could also be that he is waiting for the right script to come his way. He is doing Zoya's Gully boy next with Aalia bhat and has also confirmed Rohit shetty's next too.

He is no hurry, also about Aditya Chopra thinking twice , RS did the film for Adi, he did his part well, there was nothing new or unique in Befikre and the film failed to get big numbers, but it still did well than some other young actors films.

Also i would rather he take it slow and choose his projects well rather than doing mediocre stuff.

Befikre somehow thwarted his upsurge that took place post BM. That's why a series of good choice of movies is essential to seal stardom. The consistency is very vital if you want to keep the positivity around you intact. Befikre sunk him to a great extent. The film provided nothing - neither money nor rave reviews. Even though it earned more than Lootera, it made an even greater dent in his credibility.

He can't work on other projects with that Khilji look going on . One of the cons of working with SLB I believe. But he already has projects lined up after Padmavati. With working in the present and having projects sealed for future one can't tag him as jobless.Also there is no point signing up multiple projects with no dates in sight. It locks a project and keeps plenty of people jobless for real. Besides his endorsements explain his market demand is still high Don't think Befikre did much harm to his credibility cause most have their eyes on Padmavati. If that tanks then he will be in real trouble cause he lost time solely on this project for nothing . But with Bahubali I guess the current mood will work in its favour.

Well except SLB is no Rajamouli. He lacks the vision big time!
