Actually, I don't think she is in love simply because Kunal said so. I didn't believe it when he said it because I thought it was premature then. I started thinking that she is in love when Naina climbed up ladders and into windows to meet Karan. I was even more sure when she made the doll. 😆 And I was finally convinced when as I said, she wanted to see Karan one last time when she felt she was dying in the manhole. And there were all the little little scenes in between. So I think they have given us enough scenes to know that she is in love. But since they are trying to prolong this thing, they can't really go all out with her yet. Hence we have what we have. 😆 That is why I am waiting and watching.
About contact, I don't know. I thought the portion of her arms which touched his neck was covered by her sleeves and her hands were actually only touching the T shirt. I saw it that way. They didn't really focus on it like they usually do. But even if touching happened, it was a mistake of the camera angle or something because the contagious issue exists. That is why even in upcoming scenes she is holding him through dupatta only. About NK, I think his dialogues were just to get this challenge started, to set up the entire thing. So I am not placing much emphasis on it. And Teni was going to help? I don't think that was ever going to happen. Mahasangams are pointless in that sense. I don't think they ever planned that she was going to make him realise. It was probably more like the channel told them you have to do a Mahasangam so they just wrote a few extra scenes to merge the things. 😆
