Hello lovely people! So much has happened since the last time I wrote na? But one thing has become very clear now. Karan and Naina are in love. With each other. Truly and completely. There is no half, three quarter, one tenth or anything left. Inko poora poora ishq wala love ho gaya hai.😆
Karan's feelings were very obvious. I have been saying since forever that if it came to a decision, Karan's first reaction would always be to push Naina away. And he did. But then he realized how tough doing what he thought the "right" thing was. The bolna sequence, his reactions, his words, his feelings, everything showed how conflicted he was. How lost he was without her, how meaningless his life felt, how colourless his world became. He tried to convince himself that this was for the best but his reassurance was hollow to his own soul. He was still conflicted but then the conversation with Naina in the institute happened. And then he had to face the fact that he was in love.❤️
Naina is equally in love with him. It was made crystal clear when she was stuck in the manhole, was losing consciousness and her only thought was "Agar aaj sab kuch khatam hona hi hai, toh please ek baar, bas ek baar Karan ka chehra dikha do." THIS. All she wanted, was to see Karan, one last time. After this, there is no scope for any doubt. But even later, when she was reminiscing, she mentioned how she had struck a friendship with everything in his life, his every facet, his every trait and that he can't separate this. And then the conversation in the institute. What was the dominant thing there? "Main tumhare liye yahaan ruki hoon." She mentioned this so many times. I thought this was very telling. One thing Naina has never done, is lie to Karan about their relationship. She has lied to everyone else at some point of time about it, but never Karan. She used to be frank with him in the beginning when she used to say that this marriage has happened and they have to work on it because of that. So she could have very easily gone on the swabhimaan and sawaal tangent as to why she was here. She has said it to him before, she can say it again. But she didn't. Because its not about that anymore. Its about Karan now. Another very telling thing was "Main yeh dosti marte dum tak nibhaungi." She didn't say rishta or shaadi, which is what they were forced into, but dosti, which is something she voluntarily chose. She hasn't realized that what she keeps labeling dosti is love and why is that I will talk about later but it is definitely love.
This conversation forced Karan to realize that he can't live without his Naina. So he went to the one person whom he had made a promise to. And literally begged her on his knees to give him his Naina back. "Main nahi jee sakta Naina ke bina. Vapas kar do na meri Naina mujhe. Lauta do mujhe mera pyaar." It was such a powerful scene that I think I was clutching my tv remote to my heart and tearing up. Meghna was so moved. She asked him what he can offer Naina and that he has to get better to be with her. In that moment, his entire demeanor changed, he got, up stood tall and said that he will get better for his Naina. "Mujhe apne haath mein sirf Naina ka haath chahiye. Main theek hokar rahunga." In that moment, he won against all his insecurities, his fears and his doubts about this relationship. Which is exactly what Naina wanted. Samridh was so so good here that I don't have words. 👏
He then went to get his Naina back but his Naina was not going to give in easily. This entire thing was absolutely brilliant. Naina has always known he has insecurities. She knew right from the beginning why he asked her to go. She knew he didn't want it but in a battle between his insecurities and his desires, his insecurities won. And this is what hurt her. She thought they had come far enough, had at least that much of a relationship that he would stop her from leaving. But this didn't happen and that is why she stayed back, to make him get over these insecurities. Her conversations and that refusal to take the umbrella said as much. She knows that if they have to move forward, he has to overcome his constant idea that she is better off without him, that its wrong for him to want her to stay. Her words about how he would change his mind again later and this is what she would keep doing all her life were so on point. He thought he was doing the right thing by letting her go, what if he decides that that is actually the right thing again? So he needs to tell her why she should stay.
It was so telling that all the reasons he kept giving her in the beginning, about parivaar, about dadaji, Di and Jeeju are actually all the reasons she used to give him earlier about why she was in the relationship. Remember? I thought the parallel was brilliantly done. All those reasons are not good enough for her now. Another clear indication as to how she has moved on from that. She has mentioned that she was staying for him and now she wants to know why he wants her back. So finally he said it. "Mere liye vaapas chalo. Jo tum chahti ho ab vo main bhi chahta hoon." And she stopped. Turned and went up to him again. "Kya kaha?" "Vapas chalo." "Kiske liye?" "Mere liye." And she closes her eyes and a beatific smile lights up her face. "Ye kehne ke liye kitna time laga diya." This is all she wanted. And Karan also finally has his hearts desire. He goes in, lifts her up and twirls her around! It was so so so cute!!! So much happiness, so much joy on their faces. It was truly a delight to watch. They are so in love I tell you. Saaf dikhta hai ab.❤️
How cute were Kunal and Khyati being in their eagerness to welcome Naina back. It was so adorable. Khyati also apologized. It was such a nice scene. Then obviously NK came and drama started. God, NK is so funny!! He said there are thousands of girls who want to be Karan's wife. Bhai, kahaan? Kidhar? Kis universe mein? Kis alternate reality mein? 🤣🤣🤣At least one or two he can give us so that we can use them to make Naina jealous. 🤣
But on a serious note, NK is really playing masterstrokes these days. Today also, he gave a condition which he knew nobody will be able to refuse. Not because he makes sense or anything but simply because if Naina would have refused, no matter how logical she made it sound, it would signify a lack of confidence which would be disastrous for Karan. All their efforts would have taken a severe backseat. And Naina knows this. So she agreed. I'm very curious about this now. I don't know if they will actually show him well in 15 days or reveal some truth about how he is actually not infectious or something but we will find out some things definitely. Lets see. Also, the entire family is together in this now so we will be getting awesome bonding scenes. I want more bromance yaar! I think they should have been giving us more Kunal and Karan scenes. And I definitely think that the one scene they gave us should have been split into two, as in the apology and the you love Naina scenes should have been different. Khair, whatever. Expecting good scenes now.
But I also don't think that the love realization for Naina or any confession from Karan is happening soon. Karan I don't think is going to say anything about his feelings because of the whole challenge thing. And Naina has is not thinking about it right now. I think its because of the way the idea that she could be in love was introduced to her. So when Meghna asked her if she was in love, it was more of a don't tell me you are in love because you cannot be in love type thing. Meghna disapproved of it then. And therefore the choice she gave was not an effective choice. I am not blaming Meghna at all, I have always said that Meghna would go all out when she found out and she did. Maybe its my bias for the sisters but I loved the entire protectiveness angle. But Meghna's disapproval had an affect on Naina. She had not thought about it before, she was confused about it and in such a situation, such strong disapproval from Meghna would have made her subconsciously avoid this question. And now that Meghna approves, we have the whole challenge thing which Naina will focus on. But maybe, in the course of it, she will realize what she is feeling.
So here we are, two people, in love, one acknowledges it but doesn't say and the other still unaware. Lets see where we go, hmm? 😉
