@Omkara : Like I said, I am a neutral fan. I went to see the movie on the first day. That's about it. My friends were normal people. Most of the college kids I used to go to college with were neutral. Mind you, it was an almost empty theater where the halls are generally lined up for Salman movies.
Why is it so hard to accept that this simply isn't Salman's forte? He was NEVER a very good actor to begin with. Trust me, I used to be his fangirl when he was young, and I was little. My mother used to let me stay up late and watch the horrendous Yeh hai Jalwa because I would throw a fit I couldn't.
TL is not going to work because it has no story, no plausible acting and tries to play on emotions that the actor on screen are unable to portray. It may make money but won't get any help from the neutral fans. Who, let me remind you, praised BB to no extent. It was one of my favorite movies of that year.
Like someone else said, Salman was popular BUT not to the extent he is today before Wanted. And what garnered him this raging popularity was his action masala holier than thou, good guy, over the top macho movies. Can you deny that? So now his fans want him to stick to that and believe me that he should because, while he is an better than average actor, he cannot be an emotional actor.
