star kids who have their eye on the
glamorous career. There is Saif Ali Khan's
daughter Sara Ali Khan, who has locked her
debut movie. Though there were
speculations that Sara will be debut with
Karan Johar's Student of the Year 2, it is now
confirmed that she will feature in Abhishek
Kapoor's movie Kedarnath opposite Sushant
Singh Rajput.
Shahid's brother Ishaan on the other hand
chose Majid Majidi's film Beyond The
Clouds. However, his typical Bollywood
launch is going to be Karan
Johar's Sairat opposite Jhanvi Kapoor. That's
right. Sridevi's daughter has also zeroed in
her debut movie and has been prepping for
it.
However, the star parents are not too
thrilled with these developments, given the
dicey and risk career of acting. Saif had
recently commented that this is not the life
any parent would want for their children. In
a recent interview, Sridevi mirrored Saif's
thoughts saying that she would rather see
Jhanvi happily married and settled.
Sri said to a leading daily, "Jhanvi wanted to
do SOTY 2 and initially, I wasn't in favour. I
don't think it's a bad industry. I am a
creation of this world. But as a parent, it
would give me greater joy to see her
married. But her happiness matters more,
and if she does well as an actress, I will be a
proud mother.
She added, "Earlier I would take them
(Jhanvi and Khushi) to social gatherings and
premieres that I attended. But they (people)
thought I was promoting Jhanvi. Walking
with my girls made me feel like a proud
mother. But to the world, it became a reason
to misunderstand me."
