agreed I too just love Da Vinci and A&D...N when I read Digital Fortress, I was like wow! I mean at the BEGINNING..N then after the revelation abt "u know who"(I dun want to spoil nything) ---I was like EEEYYUCK!!! Its soo stupid..I hated that Ending!!!
N Dan Brown's Style gets predictable once u read two of his, u can predict what direction he is going to take when U read the next...
but all said n done..Da Vinci and A&D are great reads..
But tad hate DF's ending!🤢

My Fav ending...
well as long as the ending or climax doesnt get stupid..I dont complain...

But one ending that shattered me truly was that of "The Idiot"...The best possible ending..actually the author allows the characters to grow without manipulating them but soon u see the inevitable ending...
The best ending possible,..One that upset me terribly but thats being earthy and realistic... 👏

My all time fav in terms of the ending was Irving Wallace's 'The Second Lady'

Havent read anything since, that came close to its brilliant ending!
