Backed into a corner, he stood and received everything and the kitchen sink thrown at him from Annika. it was THAT HARD to make him mad at her. He stood and watched her in shock as she transformed into someone else, attacking his family mercilessly, insult after insult. He started at her eyes , searching for some sense or insanity but she was unstoppable.
When she went too far, he was forced to make a choice. Until then he was just letting her have her say, even telling his mother to be quiet. But when she said she wanted to split the house, he snapped into action.
Threat to his family, threat to Oberois, must remove immediately. In a fit of cruel judgement, he severed all ties between them. Signed divorce papers and cruelly threw them at her. Outrage.
She just had to go further. He asked her to name her price. She asked for her share of his property. Half. He decided she deserved nothing and dragged her out.
So that's what watching a house burn down from start to rubble felt like.
He threw her out, and she was meekly following. Even rushing to make it easier for him. No resistance, no argument, she let him throw her out. She stood there, silent , not a word from her, just looked back into his eyes.
So this is goodbye... that sight might very well be the last of her, for him. Because she has set herself on fire to save him , from his mother. Tragedy is , it doesn't look like he will find out for a while yet.
He looked at his reflection in the mirror, hating the mad who looked back at him. Did he hate what he had allowed himself to become? Or did he hate what he had just done to Annika.
Was this hateful Annika real? Or was the one I lived a beautiful interlude with these past months the real Annika? He's in to state to think clearly. He grieved alone, shut his whole family out, the ones whom he defended from her.
through the night he picked himself up, glued the pieces together and came out as a cardboard cutout of himself. Pry any deeper and the hollowness shows. OmRu saw through it, but he does not give them any time to see deeper.
Today he went to Sahil. They had planned to see him off together , for a fortnight visit to Simla. Did he go because he forgot Sahil was Annika's brother, not his? Strange but, he was talking more to her brother than his own.
Or Did he go because he needed to see her? Sahil is his only link to Annika now. He insists Sahil to call him often , and Annika gently told Sahil not to , without explaining. He didn't burn bridges with Sahil, like he did with Annika. Regret?
He turns like a homing beacon lit up, zeroing on her exact location. But she wasn't there. But a restlessness awoke and his heart was warring with his brain. He kept looking at the spot she was hiding but couldn't see her. He says goodbye to Sahil and leaves.
Moments later he heard her voice. In the cacophony of the streets , he heard her voice clearly. His restless eyes searched again knowing exactly where she was. But she hid away.
A pain clamped over his chest, and he couldnt breathe. Leaving hastily he drove back.
"When I can't see you anywhere around me, I can't breathe, Annika.. "
He literally couldn't breathe. Gasping for air, he passes out in his room. Annika calls Rudra and tells him to check on him.
Funny how that one person he wants, is the one fretting about him miles away. And the family he prides in , just walked away at his request. He wanted none of them. There is no relief in them.
Solace is with Her. Her voice, her smile, her touch, just her. The utter desolation in his eyes when he woke up was clawing at me. Poor fellow, I feel sorry for him already. Even Rudra's hug was fleeting, not returned.
He was grieving her absense, a loss so devastating there is no light in his eyes. Pure misery. Feels like this when your loved one goes away. Like they were just here, and suddenly there weren't anymore, and nothing is the same.
There is no thinking, no recalling , no flashbacks or anger. The yawning emptiness and unbearable silence was pure torture for me.
Just like that suddenly he felt the throb again, like she was again nearby. zeroes in immediately at the phone poised cleverly pointing at him. That ehsaas is too strong.
Oh yes, she is going to vanish soon. Literally he won't get to see her at all because he falls ill with this dard in his heart. For that reason she will go away.
Notice how he isn't even angry anymore. He looked like , if he saw her just then outside the school, he'd hold her tight and never let go again.
p/s : hi guys, sorry for vanishing last week. Friday episode did a real number on me. Spent all of Saturday being sad and gloomy. Today was just as bad.
I was very angry at the Oberois last week. No one wants to step out and help Shivaay 😕. So many know the reason he's suffering and no one has guts to help him.
Where is this track going? I dunno. But heck, it is painful...
