PROLOGUE

"Itna sannatta kyu hai bhai" a girl shouted entering the class ...
" Aaj Hitler Maths k answer sheets dikhayega" her friend whispered into her ears ...to which the girl's face turned pale and she made a run towards the last seat not wanting to be in the periphery of the Hitler's eyes...

"Ms Gupta could u pls enlighten us all with the theories you presented in the exam... I was not wise enough to grasp those..may be" a sarcastic comment broke the silence in the class.
"Ms Gupta stop hiding behind the book ...25 out of 100...tomorrow with your guardian at sharp 10"



"Papa will kill me ...better I burn the papers...no no Professor Raizada will eat me alive.." the girl kept blabbering. ...Suddenly her face lightened with an idea..."DI"

"DI u have a meeting with my Professor at 10...so don't be late" the girl announced in the bedroom.

"Excuse me I don't intend to be your so called Dracula's meal ask Papa to do the honours" her sister retorted

And soon the room was filled with the melodious Pls pls pls...

"Shashi I have talked to Rashmi about this and she is too excited to see Khushi as her bahu...bas Arnav haan kar de..." Amit Raizada was talking to his dear friend and colleague Shashi.
"Khushi to mere pasand wale ladke se hi shaadi karegi...I am sorted that way" Shashi said

"ok ok I am ready for the marriage" said Arnav to which Rashmi couldn't stop herself from flashing her all pairs of teeth ...

"Khushi has said yes..I am so excited" shared Shashi with his younger daughter..."Wohoo Di's marriage. ...I will get a Jiju ...he should be supercool...atleast show me the pic Dad" chirped Paayal

"No.. this can't be your Dracula professor" Khushi exasperated ...to which she saw her sister's head nodding "Unfortunately yes he is"...
There was a dead silence and then "Papa"!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 1

"Paayal get up...u will miss ur classes" shouted a girl in her early 20s while rushing out of the bathroom.
"hmmm" was all she got in response irritating her further...Finally She snatched the blanket and pushed her little sister in the bathroom.

This was Khushi Gupta's daily routine. She has just started working in an IT company and so still struggling to catch up with the new routine.

"Paayal u completed your assignment?" asked Khushi while having breakfast.
"Oh no I am still stuck ...will need a day more to finish it " Paayal replied in a plain tone . Khushi was surprised to see such a calm tone..."And your favourite professor will allow it..last time i heard he was too cruel to give these kinds of grants" Khushi raised her eyebrows at Paayal stifling her laughter.
"Aapko kabhi unka chehra roz subah dekhna pade tab pata chalega aapko ...ki" Paayal would have continued but stopped hearing the footsteps of her father.

"Good morning Papa" both the sisters chirped." Shashi smiled and wished them back. Paayal got up with a gloomy face ready to leave.
" Ye Akdu Professor cheez kya hai...itna khauf failaye rakha hai" Khushi soliloquised...

At college

"Shashi do you think our kids will agree for the alliance. ...Rashmi toh Arnav-Khushi ke shaadi ke zikra se hi itni khush ho gayi ki...aaj pura schedule Arnav ke saath rakha hua hai use manane k liye" Amit smiled remembering Rashmi's excitement over Arnav-Khushi.

"Khushi meri pasand k ladke se hi shaadi karegi...so I m sorted that way...Let's see what will be Arnav's decision" Shashi told Amit earning a smirk in return "Don't worry Mumma's boy will agree to his mother's fancies at the end of the day" Amit laughed.
Shashi and Amit were thick friends and were working in the same bank .

"Di u have a meeting with my Professor at 10...so don't be late" the girl announced in the bedroom.

"Excuse me I don't intend to be your so called Dracula's meal ask Papa to do the honours" her sister retorted .Moreover my project's deadline is also nearing ..I will only be a little free after two days.

"Cool ...I don't mind bunking college for two days" Paayal smiled and jumped on the bed.

Poor boy finally succumbed to his mother's melodramatic threats and not to forget her KHUSHI PURAAN ...seems like she is totally smitten.
And within an hour Arnav was sitting with a photograph in his hand ...BUT the frustration was replaced by a besotted smile which didn't dare to leave his charming face...
Like mother like son..totally smitten!!!!

There was a dead silence and then "Papa" Khushi shouted through the hallway . " I know I know u are too excited on seeing your would be husband's pic ..I am so happy Khush ..Arnav is a gem he will always keep you happy" Shashi expressed his joy after which Khushi couldn't speak a word.

Khushi had always dreamt of a romantic husband...but reality was going the other way...she was making assumptions on Paayal's rantings about how cruel and arrogant her professor is!!!

PRECAP:

"Miss Gupta your guardian" Mr. Raizada demanded an answer.
"She will be there at 11" Paayal answered hiding the smirk

Lol...Khushi nw afraid especially after Payal's description of Arnav being a Dracula. Love to see wat happens wen dey meet. Loved it!!

Superbly written. Waiting to see that how does this Dracula professor/future hubby will woo his future biwi and change her perceptions about him.
