Yes Omkaara as a character is new to Indian television. If it was an experiment, the makers definitely have hit the bull's-eye. Among all the characters of parent show his character is most loved.

I personally feel more than his love story, he as a character needs to be explored . He was a multi layered character and in the name of love story makers are hell bent on making him uni dimensional. The guy who has risen from a scratch is portrayed as weak now. How can a person be weak who has defeated his inner demons on his own to rise up? May be shivaay was the one who admitted him in rehab but at the end of the day it was his own strength that made him overcome the tough phase of his life.

My request to makers is please stop spoiling your own creation. Hire good script writers if u r running out of ideas and stop being biased.

Absolutely true @Haalim ... Kunal as an actor deserves better, Omkara the character deserves better ... He was cult, so new ... So fresh yet so raw ... It is a fact that before a love story ... His individuality had to be explored ...

Agree kunal and Omkara both deserve better.

Gauri definitely needs grooming. Look at initial episodes of DBO she was complimenting omkaara as the character. Looks wise and acting wise they are still perfect, but gauri's character needs changes.

Omkara from the beginning is seen as a very dominating character, so gauri with current character portrayal is not standing anywhere. Cvs need to work on both characters now. Let the love story wait.

Its not actually about me trying to put Omkara down ... I just said it that way because I feel ... The other projects I.e IB and IPKKND3 are getting care, attention and promotion ... DBO truly deserves it on the same lines ... I admit it is just because of the consistent actors ... Only two of them trying to put up a show worth watching... It was so absolute them that the PH was able to bid their stakes on the spin off ... And now see what has the condition of especially the scripting of the baby show come to be ... I am sorry again ... But please don't misunderstand my point of view
