These are some good points. Perhaps the infidelity that she saw amidst the adults around her as a child has shaped her.

Although, I prefer to see her as someone who realized that fidelity is sometimes an unrealistic expectation. Fidelity is just one (and IMO overrated) factor in a relationship. Also, if Twinkle does not expect fidelity in relationships, then Akshay is not technically a cheater.

I think both Twinkle and Kajol just pretend to be really independent and modern. Twinkle especially loves to portray herself as being really hip and cool but I think it's just an act. After the kind of childhood she had, she must like the outward stability of a husband and children and someone who's gonna come home eventually.

Akshay at least is way better than her father. He may cheat but seems to keep it out of the house and discreet and doesn't let it affect his children. Rajesh Khanna made life a living hell for Dimple and was almost proud of it.

Sallu cheated on Sangeeta Bijlani right? He said 'shaadi ke cards chapp gaye the' on Koffee with Karan if I'm not mistaken. I don't think he was engaged to Somy or his other 90's gfs.

Then when he cheated on her, she broke it off with Akki and resumed movies after a 2 year break.Akki was then rumoured to be wiTh Pooja Batra, Shilpa and even rumoured with Rekha before marrying Twinkle.
