ok I'm also as tired and exhausted as you guys. I have tried my level best to remain positive and see plus points but this is starting to threaten my peace of mind. I write this for makers because they are making fans feel ill with the emotional turmoil. I fail to see how this makes more ppl want to watch the show to get their dose of this depression.
I see partially what Annika is trying to do. She has found out something from Tia, and had returned with a newfound courage and steel spine to face Pinky.
Annika is unafraid of pinky, not one tear at her venom. In fact, it looks like Pinky's respect has fallen in Annika's eyes.
I stand by my gut feeling. Pinky has been sabotaging the Oberois for a long time now, for her son to get ahead. She helped Tia and Mrs K trap Shivaay, first with pregnancy then with Om's illegitimacy blackmailing.
Now, she has made arrangements for Prinku to marry Rv, and even sent the poor girl off to Kamini to be ill treated. Jhanvi was quite upset at being overruled.
But see how smartly Annika is playing Pinky. Pinky thinks Annika is making ruses to rile up Shivaay, but in her angry way SHE is telling in stark truth what Pinky is doing.
Annika just exposed Pinky in a smack-in-your-face outright manner with her words and anger. Shivaay is reeling. Notice how he is silent and puzzled? Just few days ago he would have shouted till he was blue in the face. He is changing. It hasn't struck him yet.
See, the fact is, even if she were to go calmly and explain to him his mother is behind all this AND MORE, he will not believe her. He is incapable of believing his mother can do rank evil deeds. Just can't.
So she chooses this way. She has to tell him somehow what Pinky is doing, instigating, poisoning, crocodile tears, torturing her Bahu, all. And she did. When she is outta there, he will remember it all and regret not listening.
As the night grew to a close, the impatient Shivaay is eager to spend his first night with Annika. He's adorably vulnerable and showing his caring to her like an open book. Kissing his engagement ring, naughtily teasing her, even down to sexily complaining about making him wait too long for her.
The man's a full Ishqbaaazee now, desperate for his wife's touch. He was even annoyed his mother interrupted their almost first kiss.
But Annika had made his mother come and do this, IN FRONT OF HIM. Making him see what Pinky does in private to her. She can't tell him, so she's showing him.
Pinky the fool is stupidly incriminating herself also. Ponky.
"She gives pretty and pricey ones to Gauri, cheap ones to me. Yesterday ,Gauri got pretty clothes from her saas, but not me. I'm constantly being insulted and demeaned by your mother. When i have done my best as Bahu here. Why should I put up with this? Because she's your mother??!"
Wow. I was slow clapping for Annika, she spoke for all the DILs who suffer at the hands of unpleasant MILs. thank you Harneet for these hardhitting lines. So much cruel truth in it, unfortunately can never be said in the open normally.
Shivaay is stunned. He is listening , accepting the unfairness of what she's feeling. Far cry from shutting her up. He knows his mother is unfair, Annika is giving him the details now for him to recall later.
He asks her "What happened to you? Why are you suddenly talking like this? It never bothered you before?"
I swear I could've hit him on the head for saying that (and I do love Shivaay a lot). The man is saying ,whatever Mom does , you must swallow it and shut up. "She's like that, what's wrong with You? I'll say sorry for her"
See, there's no reasoning with him. How will she tell him what she found out from Tia then?
Trust me, Annika is going to get Pinky to expose herself. She may be punished for it too, because exposing a mother's bad deeds to her son and ruining their relationship is terrible also.
But here Pinky is threatening Shivaay. And Shivaay wants Annika. Pinky is intentionally sabotaging her own son, I suspect for many years now too.

watching them have sleepless nights missing each other in the next room really went in an squeezed my heart.
Poor Shivaay looks ragged and troubled. Wonder why he didn't just carry her back to bed like he did before. Why did he allow the distance? She's angry, and with good reason, she hurts.
(I'm guilty of this sometimes. if I'm so mad at the husband but I don't want to fight him or speak angrily, I just sleep off early to avoid the quiet night conversation. Annika needs to keep the momentum going. If He says sorry again and cajoled her she'll have to start over)
But the misery on Shivaay's face killed me. i can't stand a lot of this. Worse is Annika's drawn face as she puts a blanket on sleeping Shivaay, kissing him on the head. đ
Kill me now. too much pain yaar.
Even if she saves him from this, he may not thank her for it. That's what upsets me a lot. Tia's words : "Are you sure you want to do this? Your lives are going to change after this.. This is not easy..Good luck"
Tia us pitying Annika, asking if she had strength to do this. Annika replies ,"I don't fear anything when I have Shivaay's love" (Koi shak?)
I think Shivaay's birth story is going to come out, when Pinky realizes she has been cornered by Annika. Huge showdown will happen.
Tia is tasked to tell Shivaay the truth after the dust of storm settles, I feel. He always found it easier to believe what Tia says. Maybe a letter left with Tia to explain why she did what she did.
lemme find a sad spot to cry my depression out.
all the times Annika had to endure Shivaay's gruff and resentful behaviour when he was blackmailed to snub her, remember?
it's reversed now. He is feeling the pinch. Poor chap only wanted to make love to his wife.
