So Nandini will want to be maid but not Chandras wife but whyyy is she so much angry with Chandra?
Both are at equal fault for dhurudhara death

Chandra just did what evidence he had in front??? Dhurudhara had pointed to her on asked for killer okk mistaken case but yet dying declaratioon is final n any country is it not? for its believed no man lies on death bed(but some may to take revenge, its happened in real before)

Nandini came from back door on sly and met Dhurudhara and even ignored royal protocol and without testing water gave to a pregnant Dhurudhara. Yes she did not kill Dhurudhara but was it not her duty to check water and feed her. If Chandra failed to protect Dhurudhara from apma so did Nandini. Both must share equal fault in her death.

Why? When Chankya said said Dhurudhara was being poisoned and suspected Nandini what did both do? Run off from palace on mini honey moon like teenage college lovers(ohhh no college than gurukul lovers). Which husband and loving souten(or younger sister thats what Dhurudhara called nandini) will do that to a girl who treated both as such good friends? Will younger sister leave elder sis on death bed and just go off with lover who is also elder sis husband and emperor?

Chandra too ran off with nandini instead of safe gaurding Dhurudhara. Now hes sheding crocodile tears saying to apma "you took away my best friend blah blah" and "You made bindusar health spoil with poison" etc. Sorry Mr. you first failed in duty of friend and husband than emperor because you wanted to prove your love to nandini over any other duty. To hell is dhurudhara was killed? To damn with your baby in her womb was your policy is it not? Now suddenly hes acting as if he misses dhurudhara etc ran off leaving her on death bed because chankya suspected nandini of poisoning dhurudhara(based on evidence). Instead of saving dhurudhara and baby you ran of like majnu after nandini and now spouting friendship dialogue etc

When Chandra saved nandini from apma was was all eyes and ears why he did not do same for dhurudhara? One rule for lover and another for best friend? So i think nandini decision may be right if she consider chandra only as lover and hubby but as judge and emperor he was right to punish her at dhurudhara death (initially since dhurudhar gave dying signal towards nandini)

as a emperor he did what was needed... but as a husband... he should have trusted her... if you see, from the start, whatever bad things happens... chandra pins the blame on nandini... all the time... she's grown sick of it. she says she won't stay as his wife... meaning she wouldn't allow him any rights over her as a husband... and that is a right that every woman has... durdhara's death doesn't have anything to do with this. the fact that he never trusts her and takes her for granted is the reason.

Even as an emperor at the time of Durdhara's death Chandra didn't do anything good. You see even Apama was asked if she accepted her crime and she was caught red handed. But at the time of Durdhara's death though Nandini had every proof against her, she was not caught red handed. As an emperor he should have given her to speak for her and gather evidence to support herself, but he did not even ask her if she accepted her crime. So,I think that was his greatest fault, the great emperor's. He failed as a just ruler. It is also written in Arthashastra that a criminal might escape from the clutches of justice but an innocent should never be punished for the crime he never commits. And by the slant of it, both Chanakya and CGM failed in Chandranandini at this point.
