Varun Dhawan: I wouldn't say Sidharth Malhotra is my best friend but h

Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra
embarked on their Bollywood journey
together when they starred in Karan Johar's
Student of the Year along with Alia Bhatt.
The movie catapulted all three of their
careers and five years later there is no
looking back for the trio.
While during the SOTY days, Varun and
Sidharth seemed inseparable, over time that
was not the case anymore. There were
several reports of major fights between the
former co-stars.
However, the two often squash those
rumours by meeting at parties or events.
Most recently, or more like last night, Varun
and Sidharth were seen hugging it out and
even posing for the paparazzi as they
walked the red carpet of the GQ Style
Awards. While Sidharth went for the formal
look in a light grey suit and trousers with a
black shirt and spiked black shoes, Varun
went a bit funkier in an army jacket with
badges, a black tee and jeans with black
shoes.
In an interview with a leading Bollywood
magazine, when Varun was asked about
Sidharth, he said, "I wouldn't say Sidharth is
my best friend. But he is definitely
somebody I wish really well for."
Honest and candid, indeed! We're glad there
is no bad blood between these two
students!
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun will
next be seen in Judwaa 2 which is directed
by his father David Dhawan and also stars
Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
The movie is slated to release on September
29, 2017. On the other hand, Sidharth will
next be seen in Reload which is being
directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru
and also stars Jacqueline. The movie is slated
to release on August 25, 2017.

They have a sweet bond

Varun gives really honest interviews. And kudos to him for keeping his personal life really personal and earning mass connect and popularity only through movies 👏

Why should two people who debuted at the same time be friends ? Varun is an industry kid with a whole different set of circumstances he grew up with and has his own friends. Sid has his own friends. As long as they are civil, why should it matter ?

They don't seem to like each other but it hardly matters. I reckon the Aloo factor doesn't make things any easier. ;)

Honestly I wanted their friendship to last long but guess with time things change. As long they're not making it worse, it's all good.

Its quite evident, I am glad that Varun is honest about it and has frequently said that sid alia are not his close friends, on the other hand last I heard Sid called Varun his 3 AM friend 😆
