"Yeh kya naya raita hai. Why did Shivaay bring Tia with him?" I said shocked.
"Hey Annika, Rishi. Mind if we join you guys? I asked the manager for another table but as you can see the restaurant is full." He said innocently. "And this is Tia's favorite restaurant. And I didn't want to disappoint her today."
"Yeah sure. Why not?" Rishi said before I could say anything and they joined us.
"Shivaay, I didn't know that you were coming here. That too with Tia."
"Actually Annika, it's been a long time since we hung out together. Right, Shivaay baby? That's why today we made plans on going out for dinner." She smiled.
'Yeh cheapdi na. Robin ke saath shaadi ho gayi lekin phir bhi mere Shivaay ka peecha nahi choda. Iski toh main...'
"But Tia, why didn't you bring Robin with you?"
"Yeah he's actually in London for a couple of days for finalizing some business deal."
"What happened to your hand?"
"Oh that's nothing Annika. I was trying to cook the other day and I accidentally ended up cutting my hand instead of the vegetables." she said slightly embarrassed.
"So shall we order something?" Shivaay asked.
Soon we placed our order and the food was served in no time.
"Let me feed you, Tia. Your hand must be hurting right?" Shivaay asked smiling slyly looking at me.
"Aww. That's so sweet of you Shivaay."
I ate my dinner silently as Tia and Rishi were suddenly engrossed in some really interesting conversation about fashion.
Not wanting to see Shivaay and Tia feed each other I excused myself and went to the poolside.
My blood boiled seeing Shivaay and Tia together. And to see them feed each other was just unbearable. What on earth was going on. Here I was trying make Shivaay jealous and he is busy here flirting with that cheapdi.
I was standing at the edge of the pool when I felt something brush against my feet. I turned to see what it was when I slipped on the water and I fell backwards. I saw Shivaay and he came running to catch me but it was too late. I had already fallen into the pool.
I wiped my face and looked around to see that it was a cat that had brushed my feet when I heard Shivaay laughing badly.
"Annika, tum bhi na." he managed to say.
I was furious. I went to the edge of the pool and grabbed his leg as he was busy laughing at me, making him fall face first into it.
Now it was my turn to laugh as I saw the startled look on Shivaay's face.
"Fhat the Wuck! Yeh- Annika-"
"What huh? You were laughing at me right?"
"That was because-"
"And why did you come here with Tia?" I said not letting him complete. I was done with this challenge. I was too pissed to act calm anymore.
"You shouldn't have brought her here Shivaay. You know na that I don't like you spending time with her. I know you're good friends but after all, she was your fiance. And.. and on top of that you were feeding her! What were you thinking? Shivaay I--" I couldn't complete as he placed his index finger on my lips.
"Shhh Annika. Calm down. Tum kitna bolti ho."
"I brought Tia her to give you a taste of yor own medicine. You were trying to make me jealous with Rishi right?"
"How did you-"
"You're forgetting Annika, that I am Shivaay Singh Oberoi. I always know everything." He smirked.
"Khanna told me. You know he has this weird obsession of making videos right. So yesterday he ended up recording you showing thumbs up Rishi. And I saw it. That's when I realized your plan." he said seeing the confused look on my face.
"Uh. Yeh idea kitna bura tha Shivaay. Of me trying to get you accept that you care for me." I said looking down. "I just wanted to know what you feel about me. About us." I said in a small voice.
He held my hand and pulled me closer to him. Our faces were just inches apart.
"You want to know what I feel about you? About us. Annika, you were right. Shivaay Singh Oberoi is a phattu when it comes to admitting his true feelings. I was avoiding this for a long time. But not anymore. The feeling was new to me Annika. I was scared. I didn't know what was happening. I didn't want to accept it, but today I'm going to tell it anyway." He said looking right into my eyes.
He cupped my face, "I-I love you Annika. I really love you."
I couldn't believe my ears. Did Mr. SSO just say that he loves me?
Tears formed in my eyes and I said, "I love you too, my billuji."
He inched closer and before I knew he crashed his lips into mine.
I could hear the ghanti's ringing everywhere. Chuck butterflies, I could feel the whole zoo in my stomach.
In no time, my hands found his hair, as he slipped his hands around my waist pulling me closer.
And at that moment, everything was perfect.
