She was an exceedingly beautiful teenager when he married her and took her to Calcutta

She wasnt a maid though she was rustic and not that educated.

Mithun grew up in a refugee colony in the then outskirts of Calcutta and was involved in Naxalite movement and later active in the Leftist youth parties

Nana Patekar was a painter of hoardings and posters. He still lives a very simple life and gives all his earnings to drought hit villages

Mumtaz, Aruna Irani, Madhubala all of them also came from very poor families who were struggling to make ends meet and hence sent their daughters to act in films from a very young age
