I am really liking how they portray Teja as a quick witted girl. The way she took note of the cinema hall timings and used it to time their escape was awesome. Again a rarity on Indian TV. Yes...many bahus do detectivegiri but they are very slow on the uptake. I hope Teja keeps it up!

Teja has now bonded with her hone wali sasu ma and Prem's aunts. Yayy👏😆

The standoff between the Don and the goon could've been better staged IMO. On one hand it is nice to see that the dreaded don loves his wife and is fully family-oriented...but i would love to see him as a more ruthless figure in public.

The conflict between the family members is a good touch...the uncle feels that Dharam's old sins have long shadows and might endanger the lives of the family members. An irony was implicit in that Teja, whose dad was killed by Dharam was the one who saved his family...and also the fact that the savior might become an adversary later.

Prem is a good son and nephew. He was not only pained at his mom's injury...but also sprang to his uncle's defence when his cousin spoke against him.

Both are family oriented...Teja loves her mom, aunt, uncle and cousins, same with Prem and his family. Surely their respective families are going to be the biggest detractors to their love...a classic conflict between love and family.

Precap was mast. Did Prem listen to his cousin telling Teja to keep her mouth shut? Eeks...excited!😃

I also like the fact that they portray her as deliberate rather than reactive. A lot of the tashan couples, the girl is reactive to the guy, so she reacts to everything he does and more tashan happens because of it. Here while we are keen to see the tashan, I do appreciate the fact that they are deliberately underlining the contrast between Prem and Teja, Prem is impulsive, Teja is deliberate, so rather than jumping and fighting , she reads the situation and deliberates on her course of action. It is quite different to the usual tashan wala scenes between leads.

Yep Teja saving Dharam's family was a nice bit of ironical touch.Also interestingly if you look at it, Teja has been punished by Prem for speaking badly about Dharam, when in fact she hasn't, but will in the future. The scope of the story is good, hope they keep it going.

^ Lovely observation. She didn't speak ill of his dad...but she will in the future, and with just cause. And another irony is he punished her for allegedly bad mouthing his dad, but his father actually killed hers. When these two incidents are stacked against the other, her supposed slight seems small in comparison.

And yes...Teja is more...calculative. In a good way. As she told Prem's mom, I didn't want to stretch it unnecessarily because i do not expect justice in a system that is inherently unjust. She looks at the larger picture. She weighs pros and cons and takes decisions using her brain.

Prem on the other hand reacts instinctively and immediately...this rash nature of his might cost him dear in the future.

At first I was thinking as well 'why does the Teja in the show seem more quiet and vulnerable in the show compared to how they show her in the promos' but I totally get it now. Even I'm eager to see tashan between them but it's nice to see that they aren't rushing with the story, it's going at a good pace.

^Absolutely..even i was perplexed by her tame avatar but she is just being smart and biding her time

And the promise she made to her mom is also weighing her down...the least she can do to resist something is do something passive- aggressive...like the way she made the cousin run after her in hot pursuit..and not open confrontation.

I feel her fierceness will be more evident when Prem finds her endearing and makes advances...which she will rebuff strongly. Like in the college promo (which I can't get over 😆), he finds her resistance endearing and his glance is just rife with admiration when she outlines how different she is from others.

wonderful write-up.

It is actually great to see a guy who is not a typical tele serial mamma's boy (he dumps her in the market for taking his case😆).. but loves her and his family with fierce intensity.

a very small.. (probably silly of me to notice it) detailing.
when he rushes to home he doesn't park his bike. simply dumps in and runs. i found it deep and real.

Teja is not being what she has been promised in promos. but going by the promise she made to her mom it is acceptable. hope she doesn't keep her words for too long and go on fiery mode soon.
she is smart and kicks ass in her own style.

overall ... show is actually pretty good and the leads are good too.
if the tempo is maintained the show has potential to be a cracker of show.

^ Thanks, and yes, wonderful observation. In such emergency situations we tend to do that.

And I totally agree with you about her feisty nature, it should be more apparent from now on. As of now it is okay that she is taking everything lying down, but I hope she reacts true to her nature in the future. And the potential of the show hinges on the fact that both the girl and the boy are fiery- hope they don't forget that.

I actually think she had no space to make a move initially, in the sense that her back was against the wall. Her mom was refusing to let her go to Rajpipla and finally relented only to extract a promise from her that limits her ability to fight back. Also secondly, her opponent wielded all sorts of power in a town which she is new to, she has no friends, no backers and the authority figures in the college also deferred to Prem. She literally had no options. But now that she has saved Prem's mom, Prem cannot make her do things with impunity. Prem's dad and mom both will be aware of her and be grateful to her and this gives her a bit of space to let her natural fighting self to come to the fore.
