There's been a lot of talk about trust recently.
It began with Aryan's simple question - shouldn't we trust people we love?
To which Kabir replied - love weakens one's trust due to the insecurity & fear of loosing the one we love

The previous week, we saw Myra denying her love for Kabir at every opportunity with Kabir standing tall, telling her that they love each other, that he's the right one for her. Today he proclaimed that she'll never be able to prove that she doesn't love him & she proclaimed that she is not supposed to love him.

Is this really arising from a sacrifice for her family, or Myra's confused heart? I don't think so. IMO she realised her love the day she dreamt of him at night & hallucinated about him the entire day. I'd like to believe that there's a clear lack of trust from Myra's end. Kabir has been that knight in shining armour for her family at every turn no doubt, but she has also experienced loosing him when he left just like that. Finally she began to trust him, but he left without any explanations. Out of heartbreak, she got engaged to Akshay because he's her childhood friend & she can trust him. And then Kabir came back rekindling those emotions. Her reason for rejection changed from I can't go against my family (i.e I do not want to hurt my family, I do not want to hurt you, I am scared, I am unsure) when he proposed to I can't love you (I do not want to love you anymore, I am scared to trust you) today. Kabir can pluck the stars for her, but the willingness to trust has to come from Myra.

I am looking forward to Myra's journey from here onwards- to taking her decisions & trusting Kabir, just like Abha who finally broke open her locked heart & decided to trust Sandy. Myra can seriously learn so much from Abha.

Your thoughts?

PS The previous week was so romantic, right from MyBir's scene in the bedroom, to Abha & Sandy's date. EEEKKKSSS❤️

Cheers,
Samridhi

Nice write- up! Thank you!
Myrah has trust issues with Kabir since the beginning; from that hotel room incident which she thought he does that to everyone, to his all of a sudden disappearence. Still, her love towards K is transparent.

She got engaged to Akshay, for the same reason- trust, that she can trust him as he is a childhood friend, very helpful and indeed is known in the family for a long time.

CVs now seems to take on the story line with the focus of 'trust'- Myrah's trust towards Akshay and Kabir, and IMO, there will be a turning point in lthe story when Myrah finds out Akshay's shrewdness in the issues related to her jail incident.
let's see

Yet to watch the episode. BTW, the forum rank is increased :)

Interesting post, Sam.

Trusting Kabir has already been an issue for Myra, and the guy has got himself to blame. As for leaving without explanation... I feel it was more to do with the fact that he turned out to be the son of the person trying to snatch of the cafe from them.

I am a bit ticked off with Myra's character right now. She has been using Akshay as a shield to ward off Kabir, and will end up doing more damage than good. Akshay is a persona not grata for viewers no doubt. But I do feel bad for the guy... he is unfairly being used by her. Not a popular opinion, I know.

Ditto on Abha. Her story is being played out really well.

Agree on the reason Kabir left. He did a huge disservice to himself though by not explaining before leaving. He should have known, given how Myra assumed things about that night too when she found herself in his bed in the morning.

I can understand where Myra is coming from so I don't condone her for pushing Kabir away. Like you, I don't like what she's doing with Akshay by keeping him in the dark about her feelings for Kabir. But then I don't think she's using him either. Before she got engaged to Akshay, her conversation with Abha on why she chose Akshay came across as very genuine. They are friends after all & trust is already there, so she has no worries regarding the journey ahead. But then Kabir came back unexpectedly. She could have broken off, but then she doesn't trust Kabir anymore. She may not love Akshay but she is doing her best & happily going along with the comfort they share (very different from Suman in EDKV who didn't even pretend or try to give it her all with that sick fiancee of hers). I don't find her two-timing that way because there is a lack of awareness on Myra's part regarding her feelings. Myra's trust for Akshay has to break for her to break it off with him. It has nothing to do with Kabir IMO because their relationship is one from childhood. She needs to realise that trust & love are different things as Kabir tried to explain to her regarding Abha & Rhea's fight.

I don't feel bad for Akshay because up till now, I find him more concerned about the competition & his jealousy of Kabir, rather than his love for Myra even though he's not an all out horrible guy. I wonder whether his love for her is genuine or just a convenient option (like he is for Myra).

I hope I made some sense.😆

She lost her father when she was a teenager if I am not wrong. Its not just Myra, Rhea & Mrs Kohli also don't trust easily. Abha is a little different in this aspect. She's more like her father I guess.. he comes across as a warm & open person based on whatever little that's been described about him.

Completely agree with you. I quite like this subtle focus on 'trust' in a relationship. Do watch the epi.. it was a cute one with the teasing. And lo & behold, they even had a random catch/fall😆
So glad to see the forum rank increase.. usually I don't care for this kinda stuff but I hope that with this rank increase, more people realise that BKK exists & watch it out of curiosity. 😃

I feel bad for the guy but not sorry for him 😛 He has accumulated too much bad karma for that. And is a chauvinist to boot. No wonder he pisses off Myra each time. Most shows turn the third wheel negative to absolve the lead of his/her actions. I hope the writers do a better job here.

Myra did the same in today's episode by leading on Akshay. And Kabir as usual saw right through it. It was pretty evident. She has returned to the Myra of the first week of the show who rather crush her dreams to keep her mom happy. It is as if she wishes to stay in a comfortable bubble than rock the boat so to speak.

Akshay does love Myra in my opinion and feels quite threatened by Kabir. He had always been a blue eyed boy for her family too... that too is threatened.

I stopped watching EDKV midway due to a family emergency. Never really got back to it. Another show with potential. Glad this one is pre shot.
