rcoza, have you tried a VPN proxy app or extension? It worked for me on Hotstar. Should work for Ozee too.

I hope they don't turn Akshay fully negative & let him remain the way he is already. He is quite a chauvinist but he's not a horrible guy painted as too extreme. He's very real. I can picture Myra walking out after sometime & I hope that she does eventually out of her own accord. Her tolerance is totally being tested. Love that she lashed out on Akshay for his comments. Its nice to see a FL give it back to other characters as well & not reserve her sassy-ness exclusively for the ML.

I think I didn't word it properly. I believe he likes her. But his focus has always been on the competition & defeating Kabir, rather than wooing Myra. And that makes me question his love for Myra. It seems more like he's just focused on winning her from Kabir rather than actually wanting her because he loves her.

Good that you didn't get back to EDKV. That was one failed potential mess. I was disgusted by what it became when I caught up with it post hospitalization last year. And plus all the offscreen drama...very off-putting.

I found Akshay is an immature, teenager type guy. Yes, as Sam said, his focus is to compete with and win Kabir. He would not care even if he would be put in a situation of losing Myrah in that race- but what he wants is to defeat Kabeer.

For me what Akshay has towards Myrah is a mere attraction, not a deep love as Kabeer has towards Myrah. He cares more about what Kabeer is upto...LOL! He thinks more of Kabeer than Myrah!

His childish acts like poking, punching, grumpling and spying on reminds me of my next door teenage boy LOL. I would say that CVs has nicely portrayed his character- very contrasting to Kabeer and Sandy!!

Interesting post.

I completely agree that the issue from Myra's side is no longer of her confusion over her feelings. She loves him & she knows it. But she does not trust him. From the precap for today I realised she seems to be scared that what if his feelings are temporary & what if things don't work out. That fear does not hold true with Akshay because he is just a friend & that may be enough for them to live together till they are old. The question of heartbreak, expectations are not there so it is safe. But her feelings are slowly overpowering those fears & that is causing her to be even more scared. I hope Abha knocks some sense into her too before things proceed further.

I haven't seen enough of the show to comment, but when has that ever stopped me? 😆

From what I've seen so far, Kabir is a decent guy, but he is also flirtatious and prone to keeping his cards to himself, so Myra for a long time didn't even know where she was with him.

Also, they shown Myra to be someone who likes to be in control, and with Kabir she is likely to get very emotionally involved. Like if it ends then her world will fall apart. It is easier for her to be with Akshay because she feels less and is far more in control of things. She can continue fulfilling all her other roles efficiently and add the role of efficient wife to that list. With Kabir she risks losing herself, becoming passionate rather than efficient.

Agree with Vedika. Myra likes to be in control, and it is tough for her to take a leap of faith with Kabir. As per the last scene, he has made some inroads, but its going to be back to square one looking at the precap.

As for Ashkay, he is indeed behaving like a high school teenager. Makes me wonder why his character is that of an Army officer. A guy like him would not last long there.

I read about EDKV drama. And all the blame game. Sometimes I feel that we have way too much behind the scenes info. Kind of ruins it all.

Completely agree with the 3 of you. Akshay is a convenient option for her. Trust is already there, & there isn't much to invest because he's already a friend while with Kabir, there is a lot more that she'll give & invest which also increases the possibility of heartbreak & betrayal. Also Kabir evokes in her emotions that she never thought were right - going against mother's wishes, marrying for love etc. All these too modern for her old school values. Abha did the same & look where she ended up. Choosing Kabir is a difficult path, while Akshay is easy & convenient.
