My only problem is there is no good build up so far that leads to Naren going naked like this. Without context such scenes don't work. No point unnecessarily putting an actor and a character through this.

And Naren needs some serious introspection. He seems mentally unstable than spiritual... Exactly what the makers are trying to disprove with Naren!!! That he is spiritual not unstable... but that point is just NOT coming through!

Agree with the boldened parts. Been following the story from inception, but didn't feel the need to interject at the forum. But some tiny issues have been niggling since a while and hence dropped in. As much as I have no issues with him going naked shown aesthetically, for now, it does seem misplaced. I also have to agree that Naren's coming across as mentally unstable at some points than spiritual and I am sure the makers don't mean to imply that spiritual people are usually unstable šŸ˜• . Hopefully the characterization shall sort itself out soon enough.

@Bold: Same here!

That constant feeling of things not going right/as they are supposed to. They are failing grandly in execution of Naren's character. On paper it's good probably, but on screen ain't translating so convincingly.

Also, like Khushi or someone mentioned, the order of sequences in the show ain't going right. If only all that that has happened now happens AFTER Pooja pulls him out this Guruji business and both spend more time with farm expanding, teaching etc... THEN this kind of connection between then would've been more believable.

And as much as Akshay fits the role, he needs to infuse some freshness in enacting even same type of scenes... there is a bit of monotony and lack of novelty in his acting already.

Naren's character seems to be drafted as someone intrinsically strong, while still vulnerable . Whether it is the director's call or otherwise, Naren needs to be screenplayed as innocent, not naive. It's a very tough line to walk. I was happy with his characterization today.

However the swamiji's introduction into the plot, unless it is a TRP drive, does seem misplaced at this point and the screenplay over the the last fortnight seems patchy.

That said, the moments I enjoy most of Naren's are his closing remarks and observations as the curtains fall on each episode- there's the maturity I seek in him there and reminds me of the Naren of the first few weeks.

Coming back to the same topic for closure: I had had my reservations, but yesterday's episode was fantastic and there's a closed loop in there. Akshay's done some pretty fine acting and the same goes for Sheen. The roles they are doing are extremely difficult. Naren's actually a character I haven't ever seen being played on screen, and to play that sensibly is a huge challenge for a young actor. That being yesterday, the pair pulled off yesterday's outstanding screenplay with aplomb, with their expressions at close scrutiny.
Hopefully, there's a definite planned story line in place and the little TRP dots add up the whole. The entire premise and format if this show is so unique, one can't afford to just play to the audience TRPs at times- it's a challenge for all involved- the writers, the producers and the channel.

Yaa it was a challenging role...but what pooja did yesterday ...to make naren's act more realistic...nhi toh normally heroine do dance or do funny act to manao there partner ...but pooja chhose naren's act ...her unique way to make naren follow her
