My POV is little different, yes I do agree education has nothing to do with a persons strong or weak characteristics but when I think of watching a serial I have a predetermined thought of how the show might be or how can be the characteristics which makes me interested for the show..I guess that's normal..
Here among the three ladies let's assume if I say Gouri is a weak character that only means her character development is weak... nothing related to her formal education, but yes I am not at all impressed with the antics of kampath is getting used as a style statement, her undying devotion for which she has sidelined her self-respect also...

I have not seen IB so I shouldn't talk about Anika.

Regarding Bhavya yes I got quite interested to know that she is an ACP and looks like quite strong also that means being an ACP she will definitely be a rough and tough character like fights and all as I am just too obsessed about Bond Girls 😆

Don't take it other way,but when we start liking a character or a jodi or a show automaticaly we started getting attached to it and wants everything best for them but in our own way..forgetting its a show and the character s are hypothetical and best in their own way..but different people different thinking and different expectations so we really can't say in which context certain comments or certain view points are getting raised..

Ultimately few things will agree together and few we will not..😊

I am a Rikarians,I like Shrenu a lot but character development no I am not happy, still I am watching show and I will only for Rikara and with this I will conclud the end 😆

@Lamsu:
I think Shrenu would have excelled in a character with many shades. Even with the little given to her she makes Gauri so watchable. The best thing about Gauri on 14th of Feb was Shrenu and now its 27th of May it's still Shrenu. She is a really good actress. So natural. Her emoting is so real and her comic timing is also natural.

This new actress from what little I did see does not seem to have the acting chops of Shrenu. So how she will pull off a Bond girl type role is beyond me. Even I wanted a lot more from Gauri's character. I like when they show her strong and Shrenu does those scenes really well. As an undercover cop she would have rocked. I hope they make Gauri have some more layers and please keep her GIVING it back to Om like she is doing now. I want to see Om totally frustrated and off his high horse! Love you Omkie but you really need to start to cool off now. Stop tossing your hair and start thinking!! LOL

Hey you can call me Su or Sudz😊

You said it all..Shrenu is a fine actress and I would love to see lot of layers on her character which has not been given...I am watching the show only to see Rikara together, even in at I told why can't they make her undercover agent it is because she can able to pull it off rather than giving her a typical patibrata patni character which is sooo common..when she has potential why not utilizing it..I know Omkara character might need a softer and understanding girl but who said a self dependent cop can't understand an artists poet Omkara, gives it a chance and thoughts and creativity can do wanders😛

About the new girl story looks interesting but whether she will able to pull it off or not is a serious question, let's wait and watch for few episodes will get to know 😆

Omkara they have to give a serious plot to the story to make his character soften a bit and finally sending it to home means the real Omkara..

There are lot to develop hope once they come back to DBO set will get to see that..

Everyone has beautifully written their point of views.
Just one thing - There is no way I believe that people who are illiterate and not "modern" are innocent and kindhearted.

Why to generalise anything ?? Each and every human is different on this earth.

That is so stereotypical and an unfair thing to say.

Gauri as a character, has her beliefs because of the way she has been raised. Yet, she isi strong in the face of adversity and has been her own knight in times of trouble. So has Annika. They are not educated, but are strong females who has been independent and the bread earners of their families (...earlier of course)

Yes, education is vital. But it is just that - education. It doesnt reflect your character also it CAN influence your personality. The lack of it does not cause you to lose morals, self-esteem and self-respect. Plus, i think "modern" is a vague term and people misunderstand it to be some ideal version of any given thing it is associated with. Modern doesn't necessarily always mean good.

I've seen plenty of people who are educated but have regressive and pathetic mentalities. So yes - there are also " parhe likhe jaahils" in the world just as there can be uneducated females who are still strong.
