He was confused as how could he know about whom the girl was talking. He was enjoying the song remembering the girl who he saw today.
The song finished.
RJ: "So listeners our sweet girl is going to tell us the name of the boy."
Girl: "He talked about me today publicly on..."
(There was some disturbance in the line so the call could not be completed)
And then the call ended.
RJ: "Hello... Hello. Well we were not able to know the man's name but I am sure by now the man must have known how much this girl likes him.
With this, today's show ends. Bye folks, listen you tomorrow. Till then keep loving and singing.
~Ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai maine suna hai...~"
After the show, Neil was thinking for a while about whom she was talking.
"She said I know him and today that boy publicly talked about her."
"Who do I know?" he questioned himself before leaving his chair.
He talked to the technical team and retrieved the girl's number and thought to call her the next day as it was too late to call an unknown girl and ask the name of the boy.
He had never asked for anyone's number before from the technical team when a call had ended abruptly, but this call had left him with no option but to go till the end of this conversation. He was excited for tomorrow.
Next morning when he was at a shop, suddenly he remembered something. He kicked himself for not being able to connect the dots.
Was he not helping his teacher by taking some bags with him? Was the caller his teacher's daughter? And above all, was she the same girl who he saw yesterday? These questions where making him anxious, so he reached for his bike and started out to find the answers himself.
In the next five minutes, the whole conversation with the girl replayed in his mind and he smiled. He had even talked about her.
"How could I forget that?" he smiled thinking this.
He reached a door and taking a short deep breath, he knocked. A girl opened the door.
He went down on one knee and said, "Hey you beautiful, I love you," and chuckled.
"So you came to know my address?" said the girl standing there, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Yes Tara, I figured it out just now. Last night, I was simply lost in you and so I was unable to figure it out," he chuckled rubbing the back of his neck.
"Why didn't you tell me yesterday when you saw me on the street that you liked me?" he asked standing up on his feet.
"I thought it's better it is unsaid then to regret saying something which is never going to happen," she said slightly biting her lower lips.
"I love you Tara," he said with sincerity in his voice.
"Love you too Mrityunjay," she murmured.
They hugged.
The Radio played.
~Ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai, maine suna hai ...~
Both smiled listening to it.
