I think Omkara's 'pain' would have made more sense had the writers attempted to explore his feelings and emotions. We can't connect with his current state because of the absence of OM's narrative-sadly the CVs were too busy finding ways to give swetlana more SS and they screwed that up too!

Exactly! If they want us to feel for Omkara, they need to give us some insight about what's actually going on in his head instead of showing us random FakeLana related nonsense. Not once have we seen how Om truly feels about all of this. We have a whole bunch of questions to which there are no answers.

I get that Om has a thing with lies and once his trust is broken, it's almost impossible to gain it back and everything. But my problem lies with how hes handling his current situation. I don't understand what's stopping him from declaring in front of everyone that he has a problem with this marriage and he doesn't consider Gauri to be his wife. He said he doesn't care what people think of him, he keeps blaming Gauri that she won't go away but why can't he just put a stop to all of it. I don't even see a reason why he's still putting up with her if he's so annoyed by her presence. He could've easily stopped the kul gotra thing by announcing that his marriage was a sham, but he didn't. It's okay when he hides the truth but if someone else does it, Omkara can't stand it. He's being a hypocrite now.

Exactly! That's what's lacking in the story, Omkaara's introspection. The story could have been beautiful had they shown it from the beginning. His conflicts regarding attraction to guari even after knowing her as home wrecker but they messed up all with Svetlana's raaz.


Omkaara is still not out of character, but his attitude has become monotonous now. That's it!

Agreed 100%. There was so much that the writers could've done with the story and the characters. Omkara was a beautifully written person who had numerous layers and so much depth to his personality. They could've moulded him in a way which would tug at the audience's heartstrings. They've ruined their own creation by turning him into a much darker version of SSO. No one wanted to see the Swetlana crap they pulled on us, yet they forced us to watch it for weeks on end, conveniently forgetting who the story really was about.

Yeah there's no growth in the character when it's supposed to be his journey.

He is just going through some hard times!! Everyone at some point of life go through it.

And he is not anti feminist or all that!! If that was the case he wouldn't have helped a complete stranger in first place.

I guess it's time to stop seeing everything as a social justice warrior. It's annoying to see everyone dragging Omkara!

him telling truth will malign gauri rep not his and I think he dont want to do that that is the reason he wants Gauri to leave silently. He didnt blame her in presence of anyone. Even on tuesday when shivaye was scolding him for not telling about his wedding he kept quite and didnt blamed Gauri in front of shivaye or rudra even in chulbul matter. Just said she was chulbul didnt exergrate that shw cheated him and all. So all his actions shows he want her to leave without other family members calling her names.
