I know the last ONE minute set off a fire in our hearts, it did mine too. The way Annika held her head when she found out it was Pinky who was in cahoots with Nayantara, that mix of devastation and utter shock was nothing less of a catastrophy on her face.
But first the aarti with the OBros. Again Shivaay snubs his mother's order and does the aarti together with his brothers, united as always. There's a reason for that scene of them praying, Good shall prevail. As they prayed, Annika stumbled on the truth. For a reason.
Maybe it's for the best that Annika is the one who discovers the truth. Because she is the stronger one emotionally. The one who is capable of sacrifices for the greater good. I dunno. But they are praying and Annika is the one who sees the truth.
Annika's face was nothing short of a swirling hurricane of troublesome emotions. Shock, betrayal, hurt, unrest, everything was drawn like a painting with angry colors. She walked to the aarti, where her husband calls her with his eyes, Come, Pray with me.
She goes, and they do the aarti together, hand in hand. Pinky puts her hand down from prayer, even her faith cannot put her past the venom swimming in her veins for Annika.
Shivaay's eyes follow Annika like a hawk. Something has upset her, she looks devastated. Annika struggles with the revelation. Best thing to do at this time is prayer, faith gives you strength. Then it came time to put her name in the Kul Patri. She wonders what to do. Pinky aunty does not want this, what do I do?
"Annika, go and write your name in the book." Shivaay tells her , after she didn't listen to the pandit's words. Slowly she goes and writes her name. Shivaay and Annika, for the ancestors to see and bless. Hamesha.
Annika falters and is lost in the swirling hurricane of thoughts as Shivaay guides her to complete the ritual. She puts her hands into the haldi and Shivaay presses her hand on to the sheet. He looks content to be ritually anointed as her husband, there was pride written in his face. No going back there. These rituals were felt deeply by Shivaay .
AS Pinky burns with her dissatisfaction, Shivaay -Annika just completed an important ritual as husband and wife.
She is so burning to hurt Annika, that SHE herself disrespected the prayer and occasion and her family. She gripes to Jhanvi that BOTH their Bahus are downmarket cheap girls. That it would be humiliating to even speak of them in public. Even my shoes has better brand than them.
Jhanvi did us a GREAT service today by putting Pinky in her place , condescendingly telling her off for her judgemental and elitist behaviour. Jhanvi is happy about her Bahu, and is happy seeing Shivaay happy with Annika. She tells Pinky off for her inability to be happy with her son's happiness. The argument spills out aloud and everyone hears it. Obviously, it is PINKY who's the only one whose unhappy today. Even Shakti had a smile for the rituals.
Shivaay spirits Annika away the first chance he gets to find out what's bugging her. She struggles to say who the conspirator is, she almost refuses to.
Just say it Annika.
You won't be able to handle this Shivaay.
I'm not some weakling, who will be shaken and broken by a truth. Just say it. WHo?
When a man's trust breaks, it won't be long before he himself breaks.
My trust is already broken, just tell me who?

Shivaay is shocked and shaken. It is after all an unbelievable thing for him. His mother, paying a woman to act as Annika's mother, to come and create trouble between them. His mother just played with Annika an awful game, dangling a fake mother in front of an orphan. That fake mother kidnapped Sahil and demanded money for it.
It's shocking. Awful. AWFUL. I'd give him a moment to grapple with it. After all she just mildly shook the mother and son relationship. that the mother lied and sabotaged him, and tried to hurt his wife.
I'd expect him to defend his mother first. IT'S HIS MOM !! It shouldn't be that easy to break that bond. Relax guys. He is torn between his shrewd mother and wife now. its his battle, and it isn't easy.

Rikara also did the aarti, but unlike Shivika (hand in hand) they held the ornament separately but prayed together. Om grudgingly has to continue with the rasms despite hating the compulsion.
When it came to writing her name into the Kulpatri, she faints and falls, but the family makes Om write her name down with his. Omkara himself wrote her name with his, just like he was the one who made that decision to do pheres with her and put his blood on her maang in place of sindhoor..
BuaMa tries to loosen Omkara towards Gauri, by mixing nashe powder in milk. but he figures it out and Gauri drinks it to prove she didn't do it. She loosens up and gives Om an honest opinion about his behaviour. Sour like karela and lime. Didn't help much Buama...sorry.
RUDRA
Not sure why he was propositioning the girl upon arrival. I think he was dared to bring a girl Sushma for a friend. This girl was dating his friend and came to get her. And took the wrong girl.
She cries at the drop of a hat, and it looks fake. Something is up there, nothing is as it seems. Wasn't the best of intro scenes TBH, but Rudy looks GORGEOUS...❤️.. will comment when I see more.

Looks like Nayantara has figured out that Shivaay Annika have been playing her, and finds Sahil. She tells Pinky and they stage a scene where Pinky is saving Sahil from Nayantara, and falls down the stairs.
Shivaay is furious, starts talking roughly, "MY mother, saved YOUR brother, don't forget that."
This woman came into the house, pretending to be ANnika's fake mother.
Then she kidnapped Sahil,
Now she's trying to kill Sahil and MY mother saved him!
This woman is the problem here.
You know there's a thing some men do, when truth hits too hard . They try hard to find something ELSE to blame. Shivaay has been restless since he heard someone whispering inside NT's room. That same unrest he saw mirrored in Annika's face.
And it was devastating. How does one tell off your mother, for being such a disgusting sneaky rat? Do you shout and yell at her in front of everyone? Humiliate her as a mother, being that son who shouts at her wrongdoing? What happens to the respect for a mother who raised him?
My guess is, he throws Nayantara out, exposing her as a liar and not Annika's mother, and maybe to jail for kidnapping Sahil.
But for Pinky, he may not believe what he heard, or PURPOSELY NOT HEAR IT. Because he doesn't want to be that son who disrespects his mother, even if she was downright evil. But it is his NKK that breaks a sizeable chunk, because the one who taught it to him is nasty and rotten.
He will deal with the disappointment privately with her even angrily, if at all. But he won't expose her in front of all. He will become even more protective of Annika, now that he knows it is his mother who is against her. It is easier to deal with the game when you know who the player is.
But one thing for sure, whether he realizes his mother or not.
ANnika will think 1000 times now to tell him about the DNA results between him and Mahi. That is her burden to carry.
