Wow, what a wonderfully written piece, Sumi, this is a true masterpiece! 👏 I was in tears the whole time, couldn't imagine that Lakshman and Urmila had stayed separate for so long. Even more than the 14-year exile, the two years after Ram's coronation seemed more painful, because they were physically present and yet emotionally distant. 😭 Sitaji revealing the truth to Lakshman before she left for the forest was another poignant moment. A mother would never leave without seeing her son happy in his life. Ramji hiding his pain and happily witnessing the reunion of his dear brother and sister-in-law was just like how a father would react, putting his child's happiness above his own. Very well written! 👏
Normally, I am not a fan of this version of the story, because it isn't very convincing. Seems a bit too dramatic for my taste, but the way you have written it, is so beautiful and I loved reading it. Well done, Sumi!
Also, here is the siggy you wished for me to find for you. I hope I'm not too late. 😆
