I don't know who is the writer and hats off to you for analysing suraj well..but..

What is the point in all this when most of the audience are unable to connect to him?..see how tremendously the trp is decreasing. ..so did the understanding suraj work?..why do we need to justify suraj's actions everytime?.

If Suraj was well written in the first place, it wouldn't have been necessary for so many explanations regarding his actions. People watch a show/movie and they have to understand the character there and then, not to roam around on the internet later in search for other people to enlighte them about what they have seen. The majority of people don't have time for things like these and there isn't their obligation to search for extra explanations.

And what comes out of the show is that Suraj broke his marriage to save the honor of his ex girlfriend. Nothing more and nothing less! That's what he said last night. And in the temple he said to Imli the exact thing: "I am helping you because when my baby was in your womb, I didn't do it!"

And I feel disgusted whenever I hear the expression "my baby in your womb". This is all I see: a man who wants to make up for his cowardness for walking away from his unborn child by making his wife suffering now. And a man who had no shame for exchanging one sister with another one. Why search excuses for such a man? Who wants such a man for a husband? Forged that he is good looking. The external beauty goes away with time, but a strong character stays forever. And Suraj proved he is weak. His past mistakes make him weak, he will sacrifice Chakor to make up for his past sins. Better he stays single so that he will not hurt other innocent people on his redemption journey.

I have never heard of any show which succeded after butchering the male lead...i used to watch another show..where they did somewhat the same to the male lead. but not to this extent and it suffered ...but soon enough the makers realised their mistake and stopped it immediately...and now its back to the top 5 shows...in udaan's case the makers are still not able to realise their mistake..and they r continuously doing it for the past 1 month..becuz there r people who support this ...if they stop doing this..then ultimately something can be done...

Lovely analyse post about suraj character. But indirectly writer wrote about transformation suraj .who is sacrficing his love for imli mainly cv is concerning suraj redemption more than sukor 's bonding.. i think the makers are planning to show suraj as big jagath pitha😔more than loving husband 😕

But any way I can't give any justify for suraj current action..this is totally wrong...so writers should realize their mistakes

My goodness,who is the writer of this post...I want to give her a tight hug...

My eyes yelled with tears,after reading this...and I am now in love with Suraj even more than before..

Everyone is feeling Bad for only Chakor,as if Suraj is not a human altogether,with the noble act he has done,he has far left behind his jagat maata in that...

Actually majority of viewers are average minded people...there have been two movies released in India,where the directors and actors had invested themselves emotionally,and both the movies explored complex human emotions,everyone had great expectations from the movies,both in terms of collections and praises...but both the movies fell flat of expectations and remained average,the reason behind the failure was that average,normal and opinionated minds failed to connect with the movie characters,and even critics gave a damn to them...but those handful of persons who really watched and understood the movie,and the conflicting emotions the characters portrayed...truly loved it and it became their best ever...

the two movies were,"Tamasha" and "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil"...

Same is the character of Suraj,its really hard very hard to connect with him,his emotions and his deed,but those who does that even a little,they only know at heart,what are they rooting for.

even myself,being a hardcore Suraj fan,I am confessing that even I dont get him fully,but for the little portion that I understand him,I LOVE HIM FOR THAT...

ACTUALLY "UNDERSTANDING SURAJ" IS BEYOND THE CAPACITY OF AVERAGE MINDS...

If in the love of Suraj,Chakor has lost everything,then in her love,even he is left with nothing,and at least Chakor still had her respect intact,along with everyone's sympathy...but as he said,he only got,"badnaami,be-izzati,zindagi bhar ki tanhaai"..

Both Sukor lost themselves in the love of each other,

like Nimmi Di had said,"CHAKOR IS THE BIRD WITH BROKEN WINGS"

For me,"SURAJ IS THE STAR WITH LOST FIRE"

being too judgmental aren't we Rabia?

there is being complex and then there is being pseudo and stupid. perceptions of characters!

call me extremely obnoxiously arrogant but i take pride in my mind and analytical skills. and yet i can't make heads or tails of Suraj.

then there are Claudia, aradhana, priya, namita, shree, sumo, geet, esha and many many more old timers whose posts and analysis used to charm me. even they can't make sense of Suraj. so if that makes us average minded.. so be it.

i love complex characters but not when i have to refer 'dummy guide for audience' to make sense of the character's action after every darn episode.

you love Suraj by all means go ahead.

do NOT judge those who can't make sense of him.

Chakor's wings are broken because she loved a man who couldn't love her back the way she deserves to be loved. or valued her the way she is meant to be.

Suraj lost his fire because of his own choices.

call me heartless i have less sympathies for the latter category.

not being rude rabia. apologies if you are hurt. but may be it is high time to just let others be.

Thanks for sharing Amrutha.

I don't relate to Suraj anymore and definitely can't connect with him, thankfully I'm not the only 1 that feels this way.

When he was negative or grey-shaded, he was much easier to read!

Now that he's changed ... we have to take a magnifying-glass to find reasons to justify this character's actions🤔 ..?

Sorry ... but "Understanding Suraj" is way beyond my average comprehension😕!

@bold I normally don't like to respond to any post which mocks another member or fan group. But I just cant stop myself from writing this reply. You post is not hurtful only but its down right insulting. You are basically making insulting remarks on those members or viewers who can not connect with Suraj anymore. What are you trying to prove exactly? Are you saying those members who are criticizing Suraj are not rational or intelligent enough to understand a character and inferior to those who support Suraj or justify his actions??! I have seen your posts too and I felt some of them dont even make any sense so should I start judging your thinking capability as well and put a label on it simply based on a disagreement over a fictional character?? You are generalizing majority audience and judging their thinking capacity and taking unfair digs at them just because they didn't like a certain movie or a fictional character?? Wow. Never seen anyone being so judgmental about others just because they dont agree with the current portrayal of a fictional character. Its not necessary for everyone to have the same view on same topic but that does not give anyone any right to label them as average minded.
