Hi Guys, so I've just recently started watching CN, and boy it looks like I picked the WORST time to tune in, from what I have figured, Chandra was once a loving husband who doted on Nandini, and now he has turned into yet another typical AYM.
Continuously mocking the women he supposedly loves and hurling abuse of her, is this really the behaviour of a king?
Also aren't kings taught to be impartial and listen to their subjects before deciding what is the truth and what is a mere lie, so why are Nandini's pleas falling on deaf ears.
As for Nandini, why has she been reduced to a door-mat, isn't she meant to be a warrior princess?
infact I have one question for all the viewers out there who have been watching it from the start, why is she in the palace as a maid/nanny for, her Father is a king right? so why can't she reclaim her title of a princess? I'm genuinely curious?

I for one am sick of female leads being ridiculed, abused, misjudged usually because of a misunderstanding or a small mistake that they make.
I strongly hope that once the truth is out, Nandini leaves, let him wallow in his self-pity or take another wife (from his present behaviour, I wouldn't put it past him), and goes and becomes 10x the leader that he would ever be, OR... the CV's could bring in a Greek king for her, give HELEN-AAA a run for her money, now that is something I would LOVE to see😛😆

And for goodness sake CV's. stop the cringe-fest between Chandra and that snake woman already, its been over a a week, how much longer will you torture us ,,,🤢

I honestly hate it so much. These past two episodes have been absolute torture in watching Chandra's character being assassinated in terms of his lust for Vishaka and his constant anger at Nandini.
They used to love each other so much; and watching Chandra just throw Nandini to the side is hurting me so much.

Nandini is speaking out more than she did in previous episodes, so I can't say she's being a complete doormat.

Basically what happened is that Nandini got framed for killing Chandra's second wife, Durdhara (he has 3 in total). So he kicked her out of the Mahal as a punishment. He only brought her back as a Dai maa, because when he went to Kalinga, and accidentally met Nandini; she was the only one who was able to take care of Bindusaar well.

But I swear to god, Chandra's tears when he finds out better be real good. I'm not taking his crap for one second!

I am so fed up of this story line. I stopped watching but I read the updates. Why must the female lead get insulted so many times?! Urgh😡. This is becoming extremely old now. Just saying.

What I hate about indian serials is that women being abused and ridiculed by their husbands, being tortured unjustly because of misunderstandings and all these torturous situations that are utilised to portray women as damsels in distress and weak is heavily romanticised. There's nothing romantic about a man having trust issues towards his wife, hating her because of his inability to trust her, torturing and humiliating her as a result and then begging her for forgiveness the moment the misunderstanding is cleared. Why do we find these tracks romantic? 🤢

There is nothing remotely romantic in a man ill-treating any woman especially his wife. Not only does the protagonist here have trust issues but he is openly insulting towards Nandini. And she instead of hating Chandra for his idiocy, arrogance, indifference, and insolence, not only puts up with it but tries in vain to protect him at every turn. It would have been best to leave him to his own devices and to being bitten by that evil snake woman. Today, his belittling of Nandini in front of the other woman was distasteful and hateful. I hope he gets his just desserts when Nandini tries to commit suicide and hopefully leaves him at least for a period of time. As for Mora, Nandini's defending Mora to Dadi was senseless. Who cares if the woman is her mother in law? The old lady is unfair and abusive and deserves no deferential love from the scorned and ousted daughter in law. Why is it the soaps always propagate the ideal, patient, ever forgiving, and large hearted wife/daughter-in-law but the man is portrayed as an unbearable, insufferable character that the woman always tolerates, nay, reveres? And romance is him manhandling her either verbally or physically.
