It's funny how big films like Raees and ADHM were bashed, even almost banned, for casting Pakistani actors. That too those actors were casted in those films before the so called ban was announced. But a comparatively small film like Hindi Medium releases much after the said ban without any noise or issues related to it's casting. And funny enough, considering that film has just released, there is a possibility that the actual casting was done after the ban was announced or at least they did have time available to them to change the casting (if they wanted to do so) after the ban was announced. But they did not. That just shows that bollywood insiders know that the casting issue hype was created to promote those big budget films and that issue was itself not really a big deal. Why would a small budget filmmaker bother to mess with all kinds of rowdy and criminal kind of political outfits by casting a Pakistani actor, if the issue was real?
