That scene is actually ridiculous. CVs are trying too hard to make Gauri look cool but she looks like a complete fool while pulling-off such stunts. Gul should stop showing her heroines as the female version of Salman. Salman has a swag and charisma, which makes those weird stunts look cool on him in the movies. Not everyone can have that charisma and definitely not Gul's heroines. The scene just looks too OTT, like a spoof.

As for the scene giving a wrong message to the kids, I think kids shouldn't even watch daily soaps in the first place. Both IB and DBO are showing way worse things, which gives out a very wrong message to both adults and kids but are passed in the name of 'entertainment'. This scene is nothing in front of it.

This bothers me too, but I don't think Gul or the writers care about social responsibility with the nonsense they show. The writers are trying to give her a "signature" because most of the characters have one. Shrenu look silly when she does it. My mom absolutely hates it and says they could have given her a better signature move.

I find that tossing candy in air and catching gesture totally ridiculous and off putting. I despise such stupid things. Just stop showing crap like this on Gauri. This is not style statement it's silly. Putting on the shades is OK, but not this candy nonsense. It needs to stop. They had not shown it in awhile but started again.
