I remember reading somewhere that in Phase 3 Maya will be put in a mental asylum by Saanjh. Then she will disappear from there and Arjun will be searching madly for her.
I want Phase 3 to be the phase of Maya's atonement, redemption and healing with Arjun's help and the beyhadh love they have. Arjun asked Maya to change her 'sanak' to 'ibaadat'. I really wish this happens.

I want no more evil deeds from Maya. Let her not be involved at all in the death of Prem.

As Arjun said since Maya is mentally not stable she continues to do bad without the realization to stop. He also told Maya that he will go far away from her if she does more evil. So let there be an end to Maya's bad deeds.

Maya told Arjun that she is ready to heal and ready to go to the psychiatrist for the well being of their conceived featus. Let Arjun take strong action now and help her. May be her stubborn refusal and suicide attempts stopped Arjun from taking her to the psychiatrist. Now that she has asked him he should immediately comply.

Let there be a positive message at the end of the show that all are not born evil and hope floats for them. And that circumstances like an abusive childhood, uncaring parents, etc make people lose direction and sense and do bad deeds which they think is perfectly okay for them to do so. Let proper guidance and love help in redemption and healing.

Let Arjun be always with Maya to help her defeat her demons.

Let OBSESSION transform to WORSHIP.

Maya's confession of killing Ashwin alone will be sufficient to put her behind bars for many years, if not capital punishment for her!

Lot of water has gone above the head of maya, I do not honestly understand this! How long one can evade law? Sooner or later, Maya will have to go to jail as she is not contesting but confessing her crime!

Forget all other situations & future crimes! How can she get away from killing her own father? How long Jhanvi will keep quiet?

Maya has her date with law, surely!

I don't justify Maya killing Ashwin but to call him a father just because he is a biological father is a curse to all fathers.

I feel some more twists will be there and someone else will also be involved in the murder of Ashwin.

Yeah if and when Maya's crime is proved she will suffer punishment but a mentally unstable person will be put in a mental asylum.

Maya ending up in Mental asylum is the worst thing that can happen to her! Because, except for very few moments of insecurity, she appears to be very normal!
I prefer Maya living with her head held high, always & as long as possible! If she has to go, let her go honorably so that we remember her for ever with awe & admiration for her side of story!

Can y'all stop treating mental asylums that way? They're just psychiatric hospitals ffs.
Also, no one ever dares to say anything about a pediatric hospital that way, why should a mental asylum be different?

Not really. If Maya can prove her mental illness at court, then there wouldn't be any chance of going to jail. Mental asylum, yes.

See the case of Raman Raghav, the stone man. He murdered around 50 people mercilessly by crushing their heads with stone. Police caught him, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, was institutionalised for the time it takes to recover from the mental illness. So on realistic terms, law is not a problem.

But the thing is Saanjh slapped Arjun and called him pagal. The look on Maya's face was that of a destroyer. So I majorly believe she would have a big hand in Prem's death as well. Then again law won't be a problem. The problem would be death of a completely innocent and peaceful man who meant no harm to her.

You know a lot of people who support the theory of evil and bad Maya, I respect all your thoughts, but seriously you need to accept that she is severely mentally ill, as a result you cannot put the blame of her actions on her. As for her begging Arjun to cure her, it was not genuine. It can't be. Not because Maya is a pathological liar but because Maya has no awareness of the words she said. She said those to convince Arjun to side with her. Think for a second, Maya knows she is unwell but she has never understood or accepted it. Because she can't. Right now she is on level 10 pagalpan where she doesn't sense anything.
Saying she is unwell and being aware of that are two different things and she is completely unaware.

As for her redemption, let's see what happens. Having said that loss of Prem is something that would haunt Maya for life, directly or indirectly, but then again even though Prem is the best character even if he dies one cannot blame Maya for it due to her mental health issues. At most one can point out that Maya is a threat to society and should be shunned, so basically we would be outcasting someone for being mentally ill. It all goes back to square one, what is Maya's fault, being mentally ill, something that either she was born with or her tortured childhood brougt upon her?

No, Maya's fault will be that she is mentally ill, of course and those who look down upon mental issues would rejoice in triumph.
Maya's fault is giving in to the treatment she received.
Since a small age she was treated like an animal, she ended up behaving like an animal. But then again how will we blame her for that when her mind and body have surrendered to a mental health problem?

For her healing and redemption she will have to give in and let herself be taken care of with proper treatment. And a psychiatric hospital will be the best place. Yeah not all mental asylums are insensitive.

And Arjun will have to help her. Let her confess everything to Arjun before Saanjh convicts her.

Maya's medical history & treatment taken so far, the opinion of doctors etc will play some role in making such a decision!
We have very little info with us, so nothing can be commented !

The question of Maya being a mentally challenged person or not, will remain open-ended, unless some clear information is provided in the show by professionally competent experts or medical team!

Mere statements from some of the characters in the show take us nowhere! We have no evidence whatsoever to back-up the claim that Maya is diagnosed in the recent past or any time earlier even!
Her past life in childhood is very sketchy & some bits of information did exist in this regard! But nothng much is known after she grew-up to adult stage!
So, her behavior can at best be falling under suspected case of mental disorder rather than a clearly established case!
Her success in her profession, life style & social living & even her conduct in general is not showing her in an abnormal way! So, tagging her a patient of medical illness needs some backing from qualified personnel in the domain!

Any court of law will need this clarity before treating her under the said category of mentally challenged person!
