Hello friends ,back with new update .Part 18
Vicky and naina shook their head in disbelief while ishita just gave them a helpless look .They left the place ,tears started flowing from her eyes thinking that she didn't matter anymore for her siblings .A tear drop from her eyes and fell on his cheek ,Raman opened his eyes feeling wet ,and saw her looking towards the entrance without bothering about the tears .He got up ,which broke her trance ,she wiped her tears in jiffy , not wanting him to show .He wiped the left over tears from her cheeks and spoke " no need to hide ".
Ishita looked at him with questioning eyes ,he nodded and said " cry for once after that I will not allow these tears in your eyes ".
Ishita burst into tears listening to this , he opened his arms to engulf her in him ,she hided herself in him and remain for long in his embrace while he caressed her back till her hiccups lessens .
R- don't cry for them ,they are not worthy .
I- raman I had given seven years of my life to them ,how can they just go leaving me like that .
R- now they are grown up and they don't need you anymore .
I- to kya so mujhe bhool jaayenge ,aise chod denge .
R- I can't say that you don't think about them or don't cry for them but I can just say that time will heal all pains .
I- had they never loved me .
R- can't say ,but at this point of time they are only thinking about themselves
not about you .
I- m I not behaving selfishly .
R- no ,you had done everything for them what you can do till date ,now its time to think about yourself .you also have right to be happy .
Ishita didn't say anything just looked at him ,he pressed her shoulder and closed his eyes as if assuring her that what she is doing is right ,he pulled her to him and rested her head on his chest ,they remain at same position for sometimes .Their trance broke by the knock at the door ,they parted immediately and a nurse entered the room with his medicines and injections . Raman made faces looking to it while nurse gave medicine to ishita and start filling the injection , Raman at first made a frightened face but then thought that if he will show that he fears injection she will again call him baby ,thinking so he made a straight face showing that he is not bothered about injection .The nurse poked injection in his flesh and he unknowingly held ishita's hand tightly digging his nails in her flesh .She at first winced in pain but then saw him ,he has closed his eyes tightly and tightened his hands in tight fist .She smiled seeing his state and hided her in him . The injection was lil thick ,so it took sometime to inject . The nurse then gave injection to ishita and told her to make him eat after the food ,she nodded and the nurse left the room .
Raman was still rubbing the place where he was injected and was cursing the nurse under his breath ,ishita saw this and spoke smilingly ," its her work Raman ".
He turned to her and asked " haan ".
I- Maine kaha ,no need to curse that poor nurse ,it's her work .
Raman made a puppy face and asked " you came to know that I m scared of injections ".
I- humm .
R- you will again call me baby .
I- of course you are a baby .
R- no I m not a baby rather I can ...
Ishita closed his mouth and spoke blushing "chup, not a word ."
Raman smiled looking to her and pulled her for a serene hug .Ishita was with him all the day ,she didn't even went to her house at night .Actually she was scared of her siblings bitter words so she don't wanted to go there alone . Next day doctor checked Raman ,he was alright ,doctor prescribed medicine to him and discharged him .Both were returning to iyer house when Raman saw the temple and spoke " ishita stop the car ."
Ishita saw him with questioning eyes ,he pressed the break with his legs, then came out and went to ishita's side and pulled her out .She came out and he started walking holding her hands firmly ,she pulled her hands back and asked " Raman why are we going to temple so urgently ,we can go home , freshen up and then will come and do puja nicely ".
R- no ishita we will do that later but its necessary.you trust me na .
ishita nodded .
R- then come with me .
Ishita without questioning more walked with him ,soon they were in temple, standing in front of matarani . Both folded their hands and bend their head panditji ji blessed them while Raman spoke " Baba I want to marry her ".
Ishita was shocked listening to him , she dragged him lil away from the priest and spoke " Raman shaadi ,aise achanak ".
R- humm ,I love you ,you had also accepted my love them what's the problem in marrying ,you trust me .
I- its not the question of trust but ...
R- but what ..
I- but ,no one is there neighter my family nor your parents ,how can we marry like this .
Raman cupped her face and spoke calming her " jaan our marriage is not normal marriage as you are saying ,if you are thinking ki hamari shaadi dhum dham se, gaaje baaje ke saath hogi ,then listen sweety it will never happen,humein jab bhi shaadi karni hogi aise hi shaadi karni hogi more over I know Vicky more than you ,he must have thought some ways to saperate us,so its the only way to escape from every problem .ishita the path we have chosen is not simple one ,we have to face problems in every step .I love you and is ready to face anything and everything but if you are afraid of your siblings and society you can back off ."
Raman saw deep into her eyes to get his answer ,her eyes become moist, she shook her head negatively and spoke " after gathering much courage I have accepted my love now I can't back off ".
"Then come with me " he spoke holding her hands and she followed him like robot .Soon they were again in front if deity and panditji, Raman told sane thing again to him .Panditji saw Ishita and asked " are you ready for this marriage ".
Ishita nodded ,panditji hummed and spoke " it will take some half and hour to me for doing all the preparation ,till then you people freshen up and dress yourself ."
Raman nodded and asked for shelter , panditji told that they had some rooms which they allot to the people who come for marriage ,if they want they can take room .ishra agreed and soon the caretaker of temple ,showed them there room .Raman then told panditji to do preparations till they come back ,he deposited the required fees for it and then dragged Ishita out from the temple ,she again pulled her hand and saw him with questioning eyes ,he spoke smiling " I m not going to marry you in this house cloths ,I want my bride to be dressed fully in bridal attire ".
She smiled looking to him and both settled in car ,they drive towards the nearest mall and picked dresses for themselves ,he chose a cream and mehroon lahenga with heavy golden embroidery for her and a same combination sherwani with for himself .He then went to nearest jewelry shop and bought a mangalsutra for her and some light jewelries matching with her lahenga ,then they bought heavy varmala from a shop and then made their way towards the temple .They went to their room , freshened up and got dressed ,soon they were sitting in front of matarani ,
doing their marriage rituals .Raman was admiring Ishita again and again as she was looking angelic ,though she had not done much makeup and her happiness and blush were her only makeup in which she was looking most beautiful bride he has ever seen .
Panditji was chanting mantras while ishra were sitting holding each other hands firmly ,after some times panditji instructed them to take pheres ,they got up together and took seven rounds of holy fire .Then he put sindoor in her partition and tied mangalsutra around her neck ,she closed her eyes feeling the moment and a tear dropped from her eyes which Raman wiped by his thumb ,she opened her eyes and smiled looking to him ,he was already looking at her ,both shared a beautiful eyelock which got broke by panditji voice who announced them husband and wife .
They bend to take his blessing when panditji denied and said " pahle matarani se aashirwaad le lo phir mujhse lena ".
Ishra nodded and went to took matarani blessing ,panditji did their first puja as married couple ,then blessed them happily .Raman encircled his arms protectively around her shoulder, both climbed down temple stairs happily and made their way towards her house fully determined to face all the hurdles of their life together .
