If they want to add to the chuda scene today, they should put in a flash of the scene when she put her chuda in his hands when she left the house. They don't need a dialogue remembering that, just music and the same scene flashing in both their minds when he is making her wear it. That will do two things at the same time: a) that was one of the most powerful moments of the show, and long time viewers are immediately in a more positive frame of mind when they see it and b) its like the sort of things they used to do once, when they would both drink water at the same time on a call etc., that adds a layer to the relationship.

Yeah... Looking at the precap, I was also thinking if he will remember that or acknowledge it. Especially bcoz her removing that had been something he had taken to heart and had treasured those bangles. They had played a big role in him opening up to love and her. So, I am hoping too that there is some acknowledgement of it...

Looking forward to today's epi... Even otherwise that precap was cute... Kind a like what Vishali wrote in her ff for haldi ceremony. Something very private and just about them. Wonder if they stole this from there... 😊

The chuda scene today ,in a way is Shaurya's redemption, a complete change in a man who was too arrogant to say I love you, is now too afraid of losing her ,putting his life in danger for her& not having the chance to make her feel loved by him for the rest of their lives.
First time round, Shaurya walked out leaving Mehak at the altar without a backward glance is leaving no stone unturned this time, to see the wedding goes off smoothly 😳 I hope they bring out the depth & meaning of the scene intelligently .
No relationship will always be sunshine but with understanding, respect & trust they can share the umbrella together and withstand the storms of life .

So, yesterday's all light hearted, lively episode was entertaining...But...it still feels like everybody there and here are waiting for the storm to hit...

I don't know if it is just me.. but all these feel like filler episodes to get to that big life altering incident about to happen,... I wish they would give some meaningful Mehrya moments (like the pool romance or the drunk Showrya's talk) and then rip it open like bandage and just cut direct to the incident and continue... The waiting game is tough...😊

diya,
i kinda don't care about the "big reveal" after the sloppy flashback scenes. the main purpose of the reveal would be to stall the consummation as long as possible, because thats the norm of indian serials.😆 agree with vedika about moralising the kiss. Wish they just sat down and talked for a while instead of getting hormonal all the time! Didn't they just escape death! I liked the scene very much until the hug though. She looked so divine in that dress and with that red bindi. Didn't like mehendi scenes very much, probably because the day light was too harsh and it made their faces look weird with all that makeup on. Am I the only one who didn't like Samiksha's look in Mehendi? I didn't like the hairstyle and that huge maang tikka. She looks pretty in regular sized maang tikka, simple hairdo and a bindi on her face, like in those offscreen pics from haldi ceremony.

My interest in doomsday is only for the many possibilities that the story opens itself for. To keep us hooked, they have to keep the two leads characterisation and their chemistry intact. The Impending doom, whatever that is, might give us all that - a separation (even after wedding) where their wits, will, ambition are forcing them to cross swords all the time. And we also get to see acting from KV that plays to his strengths. But, I still can't help see all their moments now with the doom in mind... 😊

I didn't mind the hairdo as much I think. I was just happy to see her in something different. 😊 She looks gorgeous in the new haldi Montage though..

I just got an opportunity to watch the episode. And I do agree with @Vedika that every ingredient was there but something was missing - might be the salt itself. And no proper connect. I could not put my fingers on the pulse, so can't pinpoint. But what I will definitely mention is that his "Mrs. Shaurya Khanna" in the room was simply disgusting for me, personally. He had used that so randomly during his faking days that it seems an insult for their present relationship. Solely my POV.

It seems that they are never going to have a heart-to-heart. I so wished for at least a single session before the wedding, so that there will be at least a foundation to start with. Otherwise what will be there to reminisce, hormonal dosages only !!!!

Need to watch the chuda sequence today, if I get an opportunity. From the precap it seems something similar to the private Haldi ceremony of @Vaishali's FF as @Diya has mentioned. Also, am curious whether these chuda are the earlier ones which Shaurya has in his safekeeping and is so obsessed about. I wish both remember her chuda removal sequence ...

What I must mention is that these two look divine onscreen.

@bold: I am curious abt that too and am actually hoping for it. Her walking away and boldly removing it is one of my favourite episodes. And having seen it so many times thro Showrya's eyes it has come to mean just as much to me too... 😊...

@italics: Couldn't agree more - two beautiful people who portray these awesome characters with sizzling chemistry... They have done more than their share in keeping us all hooked. I wish the makers make it a bit easy for them by giving them a narration that also works with their wonderful acting..

@Rekha, yes, I agree. She looked a million times better in the room than in the mehendi. I also attribute it to being shot outdoors and the heat. Also, thats pretty realistic - even the most beautiful people I know look frazzled and totally unlike themselves in their wedding photos! There are just so many people, so many opinions and so much stress that its rare for you to a) look perfect and b) be totally happy with how you look. She's very simple in the haldi look, so I think she'll look beautiful again there.

@Chandrima and Diya, yes it was the old chuda, and the scene was good too. But again, all the things happening around it were so random that I found it difficult to see it only by itself. Still processing.
