I am really hoping that the idea of Bride Swapping was Shweta's idea for various reasons:
1) Shweta knows why the Mehta's want Riya to marry Neil, for the money. She'd basically be cutting their last hope
2) She knows that the Mehta's hate Ananya for always pulling stunts which end up embarrassing them. She'd be an amazing medium for the Mehta's to be more embarrassed.
3) She had said from the offset that she wouldn't let Riya be her bahu, replacing her with Ananya will prove to the Mehta's that she was right.
4) If things DO happen to go wrong, she can plead the fifth and say that it was decided by Ananya because "her and Neil love each other"
If not, I hope it's Neil ke karnaamey. đđđ
I was wishing that Riya realises the truth in Ali's voice (when he was telling her he loves her even though he doesn't) and so she leaves on the day of the wedding, and Shweta Ji is all "HOW COULD YOU" and Dayawanti to hide this fact quickly tells Ananya (practically begs her) to take Riya's place.
