Chapter 6 :
Everyone entered the conference room except mahek as she was busy with some more formalities of joining, before entering she received a text from Shaurya , "I will make sure you end up calling me sir before you leave this conference room" She read and ignored the message, when she entered all the seats were occupied except the one beside Shaurya, it wasn't less than a hot seat for mahek,she was in her thoughts when she heard Shaurya's voice, Miss Sharma you need a special invitation to settle down?? she gathered some courage and sat beside his seat , meeting started with Shaurya giving some valuable information about the company and shared some future plans and growth of the company and cleared out the expectations from the new joinees which will help the company to reach their goals.
Once Shaurya completed , it was the turn of joinees to introduce themselves, Shaurya settled down in his place and one by one everyone started introducing themselves, when Mahek's turn was nearing he holded her hand tightly under the table, she tried to free herself and stared angrily at him , he smiled she signalled him to leave the hand ,he said no by nodding his head, next was her turn , Mahek was still staring at him when she heard Rajeev's voice Mahek will you introduce yourself to your colleagues?? she looked at Rajeev and said yes , even Shaurya continued we all are waiting to hear you miss Sharma , she tried to pull her hand but his grip was so strong that she wasn't able to free herself, Yes SIR iam also excited to introduce myself Mahek continued looking at Shaurya and pulled her hand , few bangle's were broken in her hand and blood was coming out Shaurya noticed that , she somehow managed to complete the introduction and left the conference room once the meeting was over , Shaurya was about to follow her when Rajeev stopped him to discuss something important. When he came out mahek was standing near the reception and Rahul , one of the new joinees was holding her hand and asking how did you hurt yourself like this ?? Tina was looking for some band-aid to put on Mahek's wound. Shaurya went and stood behind Mahek and in a shock she just turned and lost her balance and he holded her when she was about to fell , he was lost in her eyes for few seconds when he heard Tina's voice are you ok Mahek?? she just stood back and said yes , Tina continued iam unable to find the first aid box , Don't worry I have one in my cabin Shaurya informed and holded mahek's hand and took her to his cabin.She tried to stop him but in vain they get inside his cabin and Shaurya took out the first aid box and came near to her , he cleared the blood with cotton and dettol and she closed her eyes, he put the band aid and said ,iam sorry Mahek my intention wasn't to ,Mahek didn't let him complete his words and continued I know you never have intentions to hurt me but you always end up hurting me , sometimes by using your strength and sometimes by ,she hesitated to say and stopped herself... Sometimes by what Mahek ?? Shaurya asked and came near to her , nothing she replied and moved back,he cupped her face with one hand and said I didn't knew you even get hurt by my kiss, she was about to say something when his phone rang,it was Vicky who informed they have a plan to watch movie in the evening, Shaurya tried to make excuse but Vicky requested him again , he said they will be there at theatre at 6 PM and disconnected the call , Vicky and Nehal have made some plan to watch a movie in the evening, be ready at 5.30 we will go along from office, iam not interested to watch any movie along with you she made herself clear , miss Sharma neither I have any interest but think it as the first step of our plan , Mahek agreed but informed him, I have my scooty so no need of going along, he nodded his head and she left the cabin. On the first day of her office itself rumours started about Shaurya and Mahek, she just ignored the gossips.
They reached the theater in the evening where ViHal were waiting for them Mahek hugged nehal and shook hand with Vicky with a smile, mahek asked nehal have you informed about this to chachi?? Nehal replied yes Di , I told her we can be late ... they get inside the theater Vicky has reserved both the corner seats of the same row , Shaurya asked him why we all are not sitting together?? common Bhai do I have to tell you everything Vicky humored , Mahek and nehal ignored as if they haven't heard anything...they settled down in the seats as movie was about to start , for few minutes they we're not comfortable sitting beside each other but once movie started they got busy in it... Shaurya was getting bored he looked at Vicky who was busy romancing with Nehal , Shaurya looked back at Mahek and said it doesn't look like you both are real sisters , he throw a popcorn at her , even you both don't look like real brothers she throwed back popcorn on him , and they started a popcorn war Inside the theater, she was getting annoyed she took the whole packet and emptied it on his head, Mahek Shaurya shouted what are you doing idiot...mine was butter one and yours were spicy popcorn...you should have thought this before starting she replied angrily, he took her duppata and cleared his face and hair , Mahek tried to pull back he pulled it near to eyes and cleaning it , Ahhh he shouted ...look my eyes are burning, she took out a bottle from her bag and said let me do it...she poured some water on duppata and kept it on his eye , he closed his and holded her hand , feeling much better now .
Ab tumahari nautanki Khatm hogayi ho toh movie dekhein?? ( If your have finished your drama can we watch the movie) Mahek taunted him , after few minutes he heard her crying while watching an emotional Scene when doctor had told that the heroine is Suffering from some tumor and she doesn't have much time to live, Mahek holded Shaurya's arm and rested her head on his shoulder, It's ok Mahek it's just a movie, she was still sobbing quietly, he gave her some water and was thinking Kya ajeeb ladki Hai (how strange she is), crying for a fictional character and in real life she is making me cry by attacking me with popcorns.
Mahek head was still on Shaurya's shoulder and movie was about to end where the heroine died in the end, but he couldn't hear her sob's , he pulled aside her hairs and looked at her face she was sleeping peacefully on his shoulder, he smiled looking at the innocence on her face and kissed her forehead gently , movie ended and theatre lights turned on breaking Mahek's sleep , Mahek realized she was holding his arms still and was resting on his shoulder...she just clearedher throat and tried to be normal and asked did she died ?? Shaurya smiled and replied NAHI she was alive , doctors cured her , really Shaurya, she just carried away in her emotions and hugged him , I thought she must have died in the end , iam so happy that she was alive , Shaurya kept a hand on her head and said Iam happy to see you happy now can we leave?? yeah she broked the hug realizing how stupid she must be looking in front of him to cry like that and hug him after hearing nothing happened to heroine, even Vicky and Nehal came to them and asked Bhai are you planning to watch the next show as well or can we make a move ?? Nahi we were about to leave the hall , Shaurya holded her hand while they walked out of the theater as the lights were din and he knew she was afraid of dark.
They came out and mahek was still smiling , she was about to take out her scooty when Shaurya came near to her let it be here , we can drop you and tommorow you can take it , she said no need we can manage, he asked are you sure ?? she nodded her head , ok than message me once you reach home , climate was suddenly changed due to wind blows and gales , it looked like it can rain anytime, they were about to start when Shaurya asked Mahek to wait ...she questioned him now what ?? he removed his jacket and put it around her arms , you will feel warm ...Mahek looked at him surprisingly he just smiled and said good night...Nehal just made a Aww face and signalled Vicky look at them Vicky cleared his throat interrupting them and said I wish even I was wearing a jacket he winked at Shaurya , ..bahut bakwaas Karli now drive the car Shaurya gave him the car keys, ok Bhai...they got into the car , even NEHAL took the bike keys and said I will drive it Di , they all started from there in different directions... Shaurya was thinking about MAHEk and was smiling and mahek was enjoying the ride and she hugged herself tightly holding the jacket, Nehal looked her face in mirror and asked Arey wah Di, even after watching such an emotional film you are so happy, Mahek got confused and asked but she was alive in the end right...that's why iam happy...Nehal laughed Di tu so gayi thi Kya hamesha ki tarah (have you slept like always) She died in the end , What than he lied to me ?? Who Di Nehal asked .. Nothing nehal you drive carefully, she didn't knew to laugh on her stupidity or get angry because he fooled her but still she was happy for few minutes.
They reached home and mahek texted him saying" we reached home safely and thank you for everything including your lie "
Shaurya smiled after reading and replied..".good night, I didn't want you to cry more for fictional characters , sorry for that "
They slept peacefully after sometime thinking about each other and smiling thinking about the each other.
