There was no way that either 'Chamiya' or 'Mummiya' could have hoodwinked the street-smart girl like Annika for too long. This girl is suspicious of every thing and everyone that comes her way and a mother appearing out of nowhere was going to get no different response from her once she got her emotions in check.

Initially, of course as any normal human being would have been, she was blinded by the overwhelming emotion of joy at finally finding her mother. That, added to the anger she was feeling at hubby for hiding it from her, dulled the sharp senses even more. The NKK card was played again and this time she was on full defensive because this was HER MOTHER we were talking about here!

But her sharp mind and alert brain were misled for just a few brief moments before her 'Annika Spidey Sense' started tingling. This girl who prides herself on the 'Ehsaas' she so readily attaches to all her relationships, including her hubby, found that this vital feeling was missing when she hugged her mother. How did one hug their mother and not feel anything when the same girl can hug Dadi and feel the 'Ehsaas'!!??
Completely agree. Shivaay too looked in alert mode after the pool conversation. When he asked her tum itne yakeen se kayse keh sakti ho and wher Ani replied ...'mera man nahi manraha hai' and she left.. his expressions were totally alert. Even Shivaay trusts Anika's ehsaas and mann... he has seen that Anika was right when it come to her gut feeling (ehsaas and mann): Tia and his kidnapping. On both these occasions she was correct where her instincts were concerned.
I did say that she was old enough to at least remember a few things about her mother even if they were vague. One would remember such a glaring detail, as important as a 'Bar Dancer, about their mother even if one could not remember anything else. And this is going to be just the beginning because although Pinky has information from her file and Mr. Bajaj she is not aware of the most important link that would prove whether she really is the mother or not.

This woman is not going to do more than she needs to and if Pinky thinks that she has a strong ally in "chamiya' she is badly mistaken
