As Pepsicola (sorry, dear, I don't know your real name) so correctly pointed out: Nowhere, at no point in time has it come out in these episodes how old Aryan is and if he is younger or older than Thapki.
Maybe I have a jaundiced/Manyasa-infected eye, but Manish as Aryan - from all angles and points - simply looks like a perfect age match for Thapki. (Mind you, I'm not going beyond this observation - for now đ)
He may remark deprecatingly that how can he, 'of young age' , be called Papa by the 2 girls - but his looks and behaviour just make him of Thapki's age.
Now, since it's a CV setup, we just should not get stuck in this age business.
Old or young - if Manyasa play the roles they are playing - why ask for more, or something different?
They are, after all, our Mani and Jigs - working their long days in sweat, to give us scenes with them. Who knows for how much longer?
