Karuna and Abeer are far better people then Dev and his parents. If it was not for the drugs he would have never joined his friends in the evil act.

See, you may say Abeer choose the wrong time to ask her question about if he did anything to her that night but see, if you see it from his point of view.. it was just natural for him to get like that.

Throughout the entire day all Abeer was trying to do was help her, making sure she has eaten as taking medicines on an empty stomach wld not do her any good, asking her to rest, trying to reason with her, help her feel comfortable and relaxed. But, no matter how hard he may have been trying to 'reach her' in a civil and respectful manner, she kept deflecting his responses from banging the door on his face, trying to stab him with a knife while he was asleep, yelling at him, screaming at him, disconnecting the phone line when he tried to get her help from a doctor. All his efforts, despite the situation he was stuck in was put to water by her. He was reaching a point of saturation with her and his patience and was feeling super bad about unable to do anything for her and what had happened to her. :/ That is why, since he was lost in his questions and answers, he blatantly blurted it out in his frustration asking her, almost pleading to her to tell him, if he did anything wrong to her that night, as he doesn't remember anything. 😭

He couldn't see her in pain, hurt and trauma and feeling bad about the whole he wanted to know if was clean, and her being that way towards him made him feel that and if he apart from his friends, had done anything bad to her for which she is reacting in this manner.. towards him.. :/ that is all ! :)

Poor guy.. he is clueless.. and she is soo much in trauma that she refuses to see reason even and considers everyone a threat other than her brother and family.. unfortunately..
