I was never a fan of any of these three before the show nor have i ever watched any of their previous shows so I would have the same sympathy for anyone playing Maya's role but the way Jennifer is carrying off her role as Maya I can't even imagine anyone else could have portrayed the role the way she does.Seems like the character Maya is just made for her.No offence to anyone but if aneri was maya I don't think she would have pulled so many audiences towards her.

I would give it to the writing part as well. Maya is one character, I suppose, was written to be very wrong yet get away with it, and manage to get the sympathy from the viewers.

And Jenny is not only playing it exactly that way but taking it to another level.

In her view she has never been wrong. The world has wronged her. And she feels it's necessary to punish those who have wronged her. Her traumatic childhood is the reason for that. Jenny successfully makes a section of viewers see the show through Maya's eyes.

Which makes one relate to her.

In terms of acting Aneri is not that experienced as Jenny hence she couldn't have pulled off Maya. Aneri right now is no match to Jenny, but she plays Saanjh well. There have been times I haven't liked Saanjh as Aneri is loud and cocky at times, so yes there have been weak moments in her portrayal of Saanjh but on the whole she's doing a decent job.

For a person like Saanjh I will say people might have different opinions as she's not selfless for everyone, but she's selfless just for Arjun. So yes she is somewhat like Maya in that way, who can do anything to save Arjun (Maya's in her head is saving bhola Arjun from the clutches of his family).. Just that Maya's methods are crazy n against the law. Whereas Saanjh's methods are keeping in mind the 'limit' of law and morality.

I am sure if Aneri was playing the Maya then i would not have attracted to the show then, i attracted to the character Maya and no one can play that with such intensity other than Jeniifer.
