Parents are everything to a child and not having one of them is the worst thing a child can face. That certain emptiness of not having one of them...looking at your friends parents and thinking that may be if my father was there, i would have bonded with him like that too. Its unimaginable...nothing can fill the place of a parent. I cried my heart out at bharti performance and felt so bad for her. She was so right when she said, when mom puts a hand on head, it feels like world's all tensions are gone and when a dad puts, you feel secured. Anybody can relate to this statement so well. And i cannot even imagine how horrible is it for children who never got that hand on their head. She broke after the act, it must have badly affected her...the whole rehearses, performance ...everything. She must have went through a lot inside to deliver this. She might have learnt to live without her dad but still that emptiness remains, i know because i have closely witnessed this. The proof that she so badly wanted and choosed a life partner who could somehow fit into her dad's shoes too shows how much she wanted to have her dad in her life. She misses his presence madly. I am sure her mother fulfilled responsibilities of both parents very well but one still can;t deny...the absence is heart wrenching. I am happy she got a loving partner and is doing good for herself today. My question is why that girl had to went through it. Why...she performed this...She is a confident women who has achieved quiet a lot in life ...then why she has to face this here at Nach Baliye. Just because this topic will touch me as a viewer, she went through all this misery just to make me(viewer) feel connected. I want to really tell these shows choreographer and actors themselves...audience can easily connect to good dance as well. We here dont want actors to go through such troublesome time with an aim to impress audience. I am habitual of seeing a strong bharti, i can't see her break like this. Such sensitive topics should not be used for dance performances i feel...you can always use an imaginary thing for emotional acts. We do relate to movies which are not reality, we can relate to imaginary acts too. Just felt bad that such a sensitive topic was touched and thinking of the emotional trouble she might have faced while rehearsing this as an individual ...i feel even more bad. I dont know i am being too emotional or what...but i felt like she paid the price of signing a contract with Nach Baliye.

I think it was wonderful of Bharti to share this aspect of her life. I gained a whole new appreciation of who she is. I would sometimes get irritated with some of Bharti's comedy but now I know her story I will always respect her for who she is...I'll probably still get irritated with the comedy though😆
They say that people who make us laugh are the ones who often harbour great pain inside and this is so true for her. As much as Bharti's act made me cry I found it very inspirational thinking that there must be kids out there watching the performance, who perhaps don't even have one parent who would look at Bharti and think 'I too can achieve something' because someone out there in a similar situation to them has made her own success. True she could have acted a role that wasn't so personal but the impact of the story would not have been the same. I'm guessing it was Bharti's decision to do this act and I hope she too got something out of it emotionally. What an awesome tribute to her mother...and what an awesome mother she has.
