Popular producer, Gul Khan, known for her incredibly successful show Ishqbaaaz' on Star Plus, has given hints about future storylines, in an exclusive chat with Raj Baddhan on Sabras Radio's Drivetime'.

Asked if the story will re-focus on the three brothers Shivaay, Rudra and Omkar Oberoi that it originally was based on, Khan said, "When we first started, we wanted to focus on the three brothers and was a breath of fresh air but after a while the three brothers was stagnating us in the numbers (ratings). We can't base it completely on that (three brothers) now." Khan said that the show will be "gunning" more for the romantic angle.

Khan also confirmed that Dil Boley Oberoi' will see a number of tweaks as its storyline will work in parallel with sister show Ishqbaaaz' after the Indian Premier League concludes. She also added that the character of Rudra, played by Leenesh Mattoo will get a lot more "meaty". She said, "That's next on the cards. His love story. We're gonna mount him."

Khan also touched upon changes to the characters of Shivaay and Anika.

Gul directly Confirmed that Shivika love story angle given to the ISHQBAAAZ is due to of IB was getting LOW RATINGS!

Abb vapas koi kbhi bola na It was promised as 3 Brothers Show n blah blah unki OMM karna hai!!!!Reason is there so just MOVE ON and LEAVE ANNIKA & SHIVIKA from your attacks of BLAMING!

And We all fans don't want merging of 2 shows..better they are their own way!No MERGING together!

I think they decreased the grayness in shivaay, I can see that n anika is TRP Aunty's favourite bahu, if they changed the track for damn trp y on earth they said ib is not for TRP at first place, I would have seen ib as finite series rather than skipping daksh n nbz crap, anyways the addiction to ib is getting week anyways
