Amen to Chakor, and Suraj getting their goals in order. They aren't even thinking beyond the next day at this stage and their primary concerns are roti,kapda,makaan. My heart breaks seeing such kick-ass characters reduced to this.

AU#1 was supposed to be more angsty, but since I just wanted to go with the wish fulfillment theory, I made it a happy one. Glad you liked it! And LOL, if it were up to me, Imli would've fallen into a black hole post-leap. Chakor may be a jagat maata, but no way could I portray ImRaj's ugly past making its way into her dreamland.

Chakor did kinda realise it in the actual bhaang scene, so yaaayy!! She needs to realise her parents are as spineless as Vivaan, but that will never happen, 'cos it's a Hindi soap

I do agree there are some similarities with Inception, but that was inadvertent. The story happened because I'd been reading Freud and I had too much wine 😆 And if I had to pick a movie (series) to say I was inspired from, I'd say this is more similar to the Back to the Future trilogy.

The ending...sigh...nobody got it!! I'm pretty disappointed. I guess I'll be making a post combining all the references and explain the ending soon.

I'm in chilled out postings for a while, so I'll keep visiting. Hopefully the show will improve and the forum won't be such a bhoot bangla while I'm still here.

Vivaan is consistently put down :) Imli made inconsequential, Suraj redeemed easily and is so in love (I just could not relate to this) & I love your portrayal of Chakor!
Keep writing & thanks for taking the time to share your stories! My response seems so little in light of the time you've spent in giving this SS to the forum...so please know that I enjoyed reading this and you are one of the few reasons I still hang out in this forum.
I still watch the show...but somehow cannot drum up the initial enthusiasm I had for the story. I need Suraj to explore his past - clarify the relationship with Imli - for me to get engaged. The current storyline - with him falling for Chakor for what she has done for him - is so lame and unromantic...in comparison to what I was expecting. Let's see where they take it...still watching the show :)

I have my doubts, but thank you so much! I just write for fun and I'm grateful that I receive so much love here (which I've been guilty of taking for granted before). And you know how much I love reading your comments because they are so honest and intelligent (also I know you're a very selective fic reader).

You love pointing out how much I diss ImVaan in all my fics, don't you?😆 About Suraj...well I tried to very quickly put in backstories in both AUs to explain why he was so...well mushy, because this was supposed to be a one-shot. TBH I didn't have the time or energy to write from his POV because it would've been sooo much longer. Also he's such a mess right now in the show. And I mostly take my cues from it. So I just took the easy way out 😆

I'm glad you liked Chakor! I just went with my own writing style, instead of writing what I imagine a more in-character monologue would be. So, happy it worked!

I'm honestly stoked you think my fics are worth sticking around for. I miss our old discussions so much!! Sometimes more than the excitement of watching the show, I wish they'd pull up their socks so you and the others would come back on board.

That being said, I myself am sooo close to giving up. Forget giving us any closure, they're actually mocking the whole baby issue. God! My expectations are zero now. Just sticking around for VJ-Meera and hoping the good writers took a vacation or something and will return eventually. (Maybe Naamkarann poached them post-leap 😆)

I enjoyed this huge basket of ficlets with so many lil surprises...

there so many delights every way I looked...👏👏👏

Truth be told the forum is more exiting that the current show. I dont have the time or patience to sit and see rubbish in hopes of a golden sukor moment.

And this version of Suraj?!🤢 Where did the dark anti hero disappear?

U and posts from the devoted Sukorians are why I have yet to abandon this ship.

I don't know how I missed this superb work!

No words to say! But have to tell!

Each world was different and I loved Chakor's self talk.

It was like a workout for my brain to imagine all these words.

1. Those question in her head when she came face-2-face with him and the confusion she has due to the surrounding made the image of her insecurities, wishes and nightmares.😕

2. She was happy to be in his embrace.

I remember the counting of who initiated the embrace between Sukor.😉

The way you used Chikou betrayal in a way of making Suraj feel he is not the right person says what we felt during that time.

All the whole the first world shows Chakor as Suraj's anchor and the light for his future.

3. You went into the world where all her wishes from childhood got an end except Suraj or can be said her LOVE.

It was difficult to imagine Suraj as a beggar.

She put Suraj before Azhadgunj. It's a good idea because whenever those people get chance they abuse her like a use-&-throw product.

They way you use the dialogues of important scenes is perfect.

His regret, his need for a friend... said all he felt.😭

4. Everything is perfect in this world except the confusion about Adi.

KN doesn't exist now.😊

5. They are both jealous. One because of Tina and other of Adi.
