The only explanation I can come up with is that Shivaay knows its a touchy subject for her and he doesnt want to see her break down crying over her past ... so I guess its easier fro him to ask Sahil instead.

Im enjoying the Shivaay-Sahil bonding... but would love to see Shivaay and Anika having a conversation over Anika's past and Shivaay consoling her
